Hey, guys what is all of this about?  Everyone just chill.  I got the vacs, I gave the vacs, I will live with any problems that may (or may not) arise here.  I understand that people have very passionate ideas of how they would do things.  I further see people flying of the handle with so many assumptions.  Please, lets just step back and wait to see how they do.  If they die you can call me every name in the book and I won't even flinch, but for now lets just Wait.
FOR NOW:  They are both just fine.  Both have eaten a few times today and have had plenty to drink.  Both are in good spirits.  If that changes, I promise to post heck, I will post no matter what in a few days with pictures.  Everybody knows I like to speak through photography ;-)
Its the weekend take a break.
But, I should say, I would love for anyone to show a hands on interest in them by way of ownership WINK WINK.

FH, I either read it wrong or it was edited, b/c I read it right when she posted it and took it to mean "here" meant still at the vet's, and she was pissy about paying more there. Now it reads differently. Well, no matter though, nothing's changed  with respect to the dogs. Still got vaccinated while very ill and emaciated....even though it says right on the vial "FOR ADMINISTRATION IN HEALTHY ANIMALS ONLY" and I'll bet ya there's an age warning, too. God, am I glad I'm not a poor helpless animal.

Windy, I sure hope you didn't just shoot yourself in the foot saving money on vaccines. You were very kind to take them in and drive them all that way and make a commitment to finding them a home...but vaccinating them did them zero good, probable harm, and PLEASE do NOT think that YOUR DOGS ARE PROTECTED FROM WHATEVER THESE 2 MAY HAVE because they were vaccinated today- THEY ARE NOT!!! Keep them separated COMPLETELY if you have reason for concern...which I would, if I had puppies.

Good luck w/finding them homes; when they look a bit better, take some flattering pics of them, in the house if you can. There are apparently people who will call them Pit Bulls (sticking to my AmStaff/Boxer or Pit/Boxer story) because they are brindle and have short hair, so the more docile you can make them look, the better off they will be, unfortunately, in this very narrow-minded society.

AND ON ANOTHER TOPIC...What the hell happened toward the last few posts? What's that all about? Don't we have enough trolls on here already? Why all the unrelated nastiness?

Hey, Windy, especially w/the chemical hell they've gone through w/worms, shots, etc....make sure to get them on a good probiotic, ASAP. I really like N'zymes Bac Pak Plus.  I give it to all my animals....cats, dogs, bird, horses. Wonderful stuff and easy to get.

Great, THANKS.  I will look for it first thing in the morning.
Final feeding:  Both to the bowl in a hurry.  Both eat fast wanting more.

That's a VERY good sign!  Let's hope the bleeding was due to nothing more serious than parasites!

Pit bulls and pit mixes are banned here in Ontario, so for once, I can't be tempted....

Hope you can find good forever homes for them!

Windy, I ordered it here:
www.nzymes.com/pc/viewPrd.asp

This is the big jar- there's a smaller one for $27, but I got the big one and give it to the horses too. I still have 3/4 of it left, and I've had it for months. It's super cheap considering the benefits and how long it lasts.

There is also another product you should look at for them, which is the granules...the menu on the left shows them. I'm ordering these for all mine too, esp. my dog who was just cocktail vaccinated during surgery, when I told them not to. GRRR.

Did they say how old the pup is? Or Cookie?

Naw, that can corso doesn't have the classic downturned mouth/jaw of a boxer, which the FOUND girl has.

I sure hope the bleeding thing was a temporary thing, like what my vet used to call "garbage-enteritis."
