On the thread I was asking about,  there was also one person ( and accompanying sock puppets ),  who tried to come in under a few addy`s,    but were soon discovered.
That was another attention seeker, who rejoiced in creating pandemonium.
I see we have similarities there.   Maybe it`s the same trouble making person ?

Thanks for contact info too Maggie.  I`ll drop him a line just to ask why,   just to settle my own head.

You know I love you and that was 100% spot on.  I must say as usual; it was well said and entirely correct.  You have so much to contribute to this forum and I have learned so much from you.  I can never thank you enough for the advice you offered to help my friends with their terminally ill GSD last week.  You made a terribly difficult decision much easier to make.  I must say your advice was far better than what their vet was doing or telling them.  Thank you again.

But we must ignore and not feed the trolls.  Please, as hard as it may be refrain from responding to them.  Let's all try to ignore them, let's give it a week and see how it goes.  If we all can ignore them for a week and nothing changes, well then it's open season on the trolls.  

Hodie, you have so much excellent advice to offer.  Let's stick to the active threads where people will benefit from you experience  and actually appreciate it.  

Let's give it a week.

For those new to the forum, what Hodie has posted is 100% accurate and right on the money.  Please click on the user name to bring up the past threads of anyone you are not sure about.  Read their threads for yourself and make your own decision based on what they have posted.  Or search the message board for their name and see for yourself.  Lately most of the really nasty threads have been removed and it is for the best. 

Shame a simple question caused such upset.   Thank you all for your replies and help.

Thank you for your kind comments. I am sorry to surmise that your friend had to put the dog down? Did you pass on that I will give them a dog? How very sad to loose a beloved dog. But all of us here will experience it more than once. It is so sad too as recently someone posting here from Maylasia also just lost her very young dog, despite trying everything.

I agree about not posting in general to threads like this, but sometimes I loose patience. I said what I needed to say in response just now, and I will ignore the rest.

Take care and stay safe and give your dog a hug!

By the way moons can we dispennse with SSDD , you have over used it and it has lost it's value.  Think of something new, it's old and tired much like yourself.
