Captain,
Sounds like you are working hard. Be patient and enjoy your puppy. Few of us are lucky enough to have the ideal circumstances, for puppies, children or anything else! 'Good-enough' is my motto (i.e. 70% there as a minimum). Choose your priorities, bond with him and build a relationship with him where he is clear on who is who in your pack. Also, treat it as a process, and don't panic about the present, use each day/event/issue as something to learn from and come back to the board or elsewhere with specific questions. I am certainly no expert at all, but what I have learned has come from experience (not all good!) and from others' advice.
Best wishes and let us know how things are going
