DD: Actually, it was the way you made it sound that Shelley started the mudslinging by assuming her defender was doing so, on her tacit approval. And according to you, that is ... what? unfair? cowardly? misleading? See, your middle bit just begs for more dissection and you had just said this is better left for later! How is anyone supposed to take that as being helpful and unbiased? If you really wanted to help her by opening her eyes to her faults, (oh yeah, we all just LOVE it when people do that), then you should have sent that last tidbit as a PM.
And now, I will be the first to admit, I really don't belong in this discussion, and probably you don't either.

Beetree, I assume nothing. Read below, from Geblaut's original post. When he or she posted "Shelley would like to publicly THANK," it can readily be implied that Shelley requested that such thanks be given. What is uncertain, and critical to the issue, is where Shelley's imprimateur ends. Is it after the thanks, or does she agree with the substance of the rest of the post attacking Molly?
And so this goes way, way beyond opening anyone's eyes to "faults." Rather, it goes directly to the fundamental characters of the two people involved: Molly and Shelley.
And to the extent that one of them is asking for the PDB's charity - meaning your charity, my charity, Steve1's charity, EVERYONE'S charity - it's become a matter of simple due diligence for it to be sorted out. At least it has in terms of my possible participation as a donor, anyway. I like to help people less lucky than I who are worthy of help, but I don't like being a sap. That's all I'm looking for here: to know the worthiness of the cause.

Ok, I have been on this board for many, many years and have seen the great things that can be done and the wonderful show of comradery amongst many of the member here. I have not posted until now but this thread takes the cake! I have known Shelley for a number of years and she is truly a person with a good heart, the soul of warrior and a person who WILL accomplish her goals. She is no scammer as has been insinuated here by sunshine??. (Sunshine, take your ax to grind somewhere else!)
Now, when Shelley needs the help and moral support of the members of this board the most, she is subjected to the ramblings of a**holes like Autobahn, GSDSRULE & sunshine?? And the ignorance of questions posed by Louise M Penery (get off your high horse. You’re a has been) & JudyK (to answer your question---if you need a C-section you go to a vet. I believe they are located in every state in the USA). Autobahn, you just like to hear yourself talk (no one else does) and you should just take the next EXIT and get lost! Why don’t you come out of the closet and let everyone know exactly WHO you are! Screen names are a wonderful thing since people can have SO MANY OF THEM TO HIDE BEHIND! IP addresses don’t lie, just something to keep in mind! There was also a request made for Shelley to publicly acknowledge the people who have helped her from the beginning when she left her husband. Well, here we go!
Shelley would like to publicly THANK Steve & Connie Miller who without their help, she may not have found the inner strength to leave a physically and emotionally abusive situation. I can speak to this because I have heard it, first hand. She is also thankful for all of the generosity, with offers of prayers, moral support and financial assistance shown by members of this board, many of whom do not post and prefer to remain anonymous. Then there is Molly Graf, who without her offer of help Shelley may be in a much better position than she is now.

Okay, I DON'T want to do this!
BUT, as far as I could tell, the "Thank You" post by G was prompted by another poster who not so subtly suggested THANKS were in order, especially to Molly for all she had done. It implied Shelley was ungrateful. Molly pretty much said she was a lazy slob. Now just a mere guess, but after the Kennel charges were produced because Molly no longer wanted her there for whatever reason, justified or not, (and I can't think of a better way to kick a broke person out of my house when I no longer wanted them there), Shelley was probably feeling like the rug was pulled from her and was not feeling particularly "THANKFUL". Especially since she found herself forced to make a winter go in a crap vehicle. She probably stopped cleaning the kennel so well after that (again I guess it was those last two weeks) because she was being charged for it anyway. Now the gate thing, who knows what happened? Depression does strange things to people. Maybe Shelley has a memory problem from being beat up all the time. Head injuries can do that. I can go on, making up all kinds of scenarios but what is the point? This is an unfortunate falling apart of friends! Molly and Shelley have a greater history as friends than enemies, yes? So what do you want from this? You want Shelley demoralized, lonely, ostracized by her peers? They seem put off that they have to share California with her, and even disparage the freaking town she is going to live in! I don't think having someone like G, as her defender was so bad, she needed someone to speak for her, didn't you feel her despair and desperation after the first breakdown? I think it was a great idea, because people like you really didn't care if they were adding more stress. Who cares if people have been there to help Shelley her whole life! Some still will, but be happy knowing you don't HAVE TO.
And for the record, I would rather Molly and Shelley be the ones to hash this out, I really don't belong here, at all.

Not sure I would classify the last 6 months of relaxing and enjoying warm comfortable safe places for you and 6 dogs to stay in the last 6 months as "Hell", but ok.

Not sure I would classify the last 6 months of relaxing and enjoying warm comfortable safe places for you and 6 dogs to stay in the last 6 months as "Hell", but ok.

I do not know Shelly and my only crime was to give a few words of encouragement ! As far a competing for the attention of women on this site!!!!!!!!!! I would rather kiss a ratlesnake! or dance a tango with a mamba! or eat poop and die!1 Ant thing along those lines would suit me far better than having anything to do with the majority of lady poster here!!!! My difficulty with the long distance lover Steve is this! He has the bad habit of telling everyone whom he disagrees with that they have no right to say anything1 In other words what is good for him is only good for him! where it comes from is not for you to know so it never pays to guess,but i did say that yourself by giving her a helping hand when she needed it probably helped her on her way, what do you want other than that it is the truth as i see it and anything i ever write on this forum comes from me i never use or take any notice of anyone else,
Or do i use anyone to run some one else down and my post above is right it does not concern any of us on here except yourself and Shelley, For me i do not judge nether of you as being the wrong one that is if there is a wrong one and i do not think there is
The circumstances did not help the situation thats my take on it and i side with no one not yourself nor Shelley for it is not my place to

So my Dear never make assumptions on people you do not know, as you say i do not know Shelley no i do not the lady personally only from the posts and on the phone do i know her but i go by what i read and here by someone talking then i go by my instincts and they have rarely let me down in my life

Finally i do not need to get into anyones good books for me it is a Forum, true i have made friends of some of the Guys on here very nice people and i hope it continues,
I have also made some enemies or as we say or not so good friends , those i do not bother about at all they are no loss at all
Finally i have never once put into print saying that i have given anything to anyone on this Forum and certainly not in Shelley's case i have not
There is no need and none of the Guys have done that, little things like that is not a lot and no one wants any accolades for doing it i certainly do not,
All we Guys want on here is for Shelley to reach where she wants to be and to have a better settled life away from a so called Man who beats up Women, that is all anyone wants on here and Yes, it proves Shelley is thought Highly of by a lot of Guys on here But i guess that upsets a few of you
