I re-read you entry......
I have seen your advertisements, website etc.......AND found some dogs quite interesting.....I like them.
Obviously this is your business, understandable.....and you provide a "service".  Again, I say.....I have nothing "self righteous" to say in regards to the "business aspect" of breeding...and I can't see where anyone said that you didn't love the dogs.
We do not breed as a "business"......this is a passion of ours....that's what makes it different for us. 
Blood, sweat and tears have made it "successful" for us......not profitable.
We also offer "service(s)", but it's on a different venue.......and yes, this we expect & receive financial compensation for.

People will constantly have different views on these forums, and that is what makes the forums interesting.
Some of your views are shared by people like myself.....more often than not.
But, I really think that you have misjudged Chris and her post on this topic...?!   Her post is actually "geared" towards the posters that think there is "mega bucks" in breeding....as was mine, when I first read the posts. 
Chris has paid her "dues" in the breeding world & earned the respect........I'm sure it gets "offensive" when the ignorant term BYB gets thrown at your reputation in these sometimes "stupid "posts.

Anybody using the word average price on stud fees or for a puppy clearly shows that they do not have the knowledge and should not go into breeding. Each dog is unique. Even in a litter you get so many qualities. Prices should varay accordingly.

if we are refereing to stud fee, we should consider the dogs titles, pedigree, proginy results etc...
