I have followed this and so very glad to hear your pup is doing ok. Parvo is a very scary thing for the dogs and Moms/Dads to go thru. I am glad that you missed out on this trip.

I had missed this post. Sorry your pup was so sick but glad she's better. Don't know why dogs have to eat sticks, bugs, rocks, poop, dirt, grass, trash like we never feed them...Oh wait a minute, I do know, cause they're dogs lol... I have a two year old human child who also will try to sample all this. The babysitter called me at work once to inform me that my son ate an entire dog treat. sigh....
Anyway happy to hear the little one is better. Have a great day

Glad to hear that your pup is doing better!
I would also like to say what a pleasure it has been to read, and be a part of, this post!
It has been great to see so many people care so much about a pup they will most likely never meet in person.
Your caring nature and passion about helping Brent and his pup were easily deciphered from your writing!
Kudos to all of you!!! These are the types of posts that keep me coming back here.
dAWEgSOME,
Sorry, I am not on here much on the weekends. Either training dogs or racing sailboats.
In response to your question about what OGBS means:
It is a bit funny.
As most of you know O.G. stands for Orts Gruppe, which in German translates, for Schutzhund purposes, to mean "the local club from". Back before we started an official USA club a group of my friends used to train on my property. I used to live on 2 acres and it wasn't perfect for training, but, it worked. One of the guys that trained at my house is named Bob and my name is Steve. The two of us figured we needed a name for our training club. That is where the B.S. comes from, but, it doesn't end there.
Bob's wife gives him a hard time about the amount of time he spends training his dogs. Jokingly, for the most part, we were trying to devise ways to encourage spouses/significant others to come to, and, enjoy training. We figured if we had a club we could do things like have strippers (male or female depending on the preference of your spouse) dancing on the back-tie poles while they weren't being used to train a dog and a lot of other non-sense stuff like that. Every week we came up with something funnier, or, more stupid. I wish I could remember more of it because some were good ideas and, if nothing else, always good for a laugh. Because of this the B.S. morphed in to BS. I thought it could be a great name for a club (it didn't end up being the club name) because it would show something that I learned to be very important in life, and the way I lead my life. Take what you do seriously, but, don't take yourself too seriously.

I thought it was part of the list of potentialy consumed toxic substances (roots, rat poison, OGBS, mushrooms) or the bloody stool was a symptom of OGBS.....
I like the real story much more then the thought of another scary new disease... I have been laid up for a week with broken foot and have spent WAAAAAAAAY to much time on the PDB lately. Thanks for the follow up.
--> Glad to hear the pup is feeling better too!!
