Denise, Is this Hutch son Boy actually entered? Who owns him? Is he going for Universal Sieger? Which dogs/bitches are possible Universal Siegers? From another thread, will there be random testing for dye use?

by jettasmom on 06 April 2009 - 14:04

Yes, Boy is entered and he is owned by www.kulladogs.com  This dog is just superb.

From GCK:
"Since proceeds from the Sieger Show also significantly underwrite the finances for the UScA's purely sporting events, the breed enthusiasts are a powerful constituency for the fiscal well-being of the entire organization."

Gayle, I do not know you personally and I have nothing against you, but, the above statement is a crock of crap. The USA Sieger Show loses money every year. (Info is from a USA officer) If this is so, how is the Sieger Show financing other USA events?

It is not.   The WUSV was funded from other sources, including, if not primarily, MEMBER CONTRIBUTIONS.

The USA treasurer's report makes it clear where the financing of the WUSV came from.   HOST CLUBS underwrite the other performance events.     Gayle is well-aware of this...or, should be.

"The breed enthusiasts are a powerful constituency for the fiscal well-being of the entire (UScA) organization."

Accept or deny this concept?  Who said anything about WUSV?

Right on Gayle!!  Totally agree with your statement.

And yes, the sieger show has been a bust the last few years, just look at the entries, its indicative of the financial performance.  It sone of the reasons the NCR  is behind this all the way, promoting everywhere we can to get the dogs out, the trophy sponsorship out , paid vendors, great raffle prizes and put on a GREAT SHOW FOR EVERYONE!

I am all behind Boy, he is a great looking animal, great temperment and Bill and Jen have put a HUGE amount of work into this guy.   I am so hoping he will be the leader in getting show and sport folks rallied into producing a better GSD.  HE IS AWSOME, A CREDIT TO HIS BREED AND TO MAX's VISION!    If he does as wel as I think he should, this Sieger Show will go down in history.  IF  I THOUGHT I COULD DO JUSTICE TO ONE OF HIS PUPS, I WOULD BUY ONE TOMMOROW!

XBox dei Precision was bred to 2008 VAI Utah dei Precision producing 6 male and two females, Imagine the interest in that litter if he goes even VA!

Gayle, to answer your question on the best steakhouses around, hit Wildfire in nearby Wheeling. A bit pricey but everything there is amazing. Today was beautiful, hopefully spring decides to stay with us.

It was a NICE day wasn't it??  It was too bad I spent it in a meeting with the corporate folks from Pheonix who thought it was cold!

Gayle, lots and lots of steak houses this way, Wildfire is good, also check out Pete Miller's, Nick's Fishmarket, Chicago Steakhouse, Entourage.

Need a bit less pricey, THE WEBER GRILL!!  They cook the steaks near the lobby on huge open flame grills.  Excellent food, never had a problem with the service either.
