As MNJ said, the fact that only one handler went over to the US for the world's does not reflect on the ability of other dogs in the UK. We do not get any sponsorship from any government body or our KC for Schutzhund therefore unless you are independently wealthy it is unlikely that anyone will travel that far with their dog; I certainly would not and that is not just merely down to expenses but the risks of travelling a dog etc etc.

You must have had Qualification Trials over there in the UK, for a team to be picked for the USA. if so how many Dogs and handlers qualified good enough to go over to the USA
And i do not mean if they could afford to do so
I do know the Guy who did go to the USA a little, i met him at our Club a couple of times when he trained here but did not get the chance to talk

We had several qualify but don't ask me how many exactly but here are the results of the GSDL: qualifiers this year

those that do not have a score next to their name/score were working Malis so not eligible for the WUSV our qualifiers are combined FCI and WUSV ones.

Thanks for that, The Scores are not high on average and it seems there is a way to go yet, but so long as the Guys stick at it , they should get there in a year or so, it goes to show this OB is not so easy as it sounds
looking at it over here if a lot of points are lost it will be in the OB phase
I noticed one Guy who comes over here to train sometimes when he gets the time
