Send him on up 4pack,.      Though since I'm more then happy with what we have I won't take off on the adveture with all of you to get new puppies.  I may go with just to visit at Chris' and see her pups though, and the stop by Dean's sounds good.

Hey Guys,

I am happy to meet all of you!

If you hurry up, there is going to be a trial this Saturday and Sunday a breed survey over in Virginia. We will be there at least for the breed survey. I promised to help.

We wanted to take our two 10 week old puppies out, but we won't because I am worried about diseases. I bet you guys would have fun with them, but sorry, they will stay with us - no rejects here.

Dean is in Germany right now, I talked to Karla on the phone last weekend. But Maryland is far far away from Oklahoma, unfortunately.

Chris

4pack,

That was a nice video, thank you for sharing!

Silbersee, I just thought Baden looked like the dogs from way back,
when the breed originated, he's pleasing to MY eye, just MY opinion.
I understand what you are stating.

Also, Sueincc,
the word anorexic of course was a figure of speech, I was at an
AKC dogshow about 4 years ago, with my son who was about 8 years
old at the time, and we saw a sable male shepherd, and he was sOOO
skinny, my son looked at the dogand then, he turned and whispered to
me "Mom they don't feed their dog!"
What can I say, out of the mouth of babes!
And yes, a judge at the show picked a puppy, that was tripping over his
back feet, cause they crossed in front of each other as the puppy trotted
around, it looked awful, we got something in the mail later on moving us
up in the group, cause someone was disqualified, gee, who could that have been?

Anyway, check-out this link, it's pretty neat!

Are you kidding?  On the internet EVERYONE is an expert, and fully qualified to give critiques.

SchHBabe, so very true. Yet I feel confident enough in who I will take seriously in their opinions, or not. I have been around the board a time or two. This was more for my entertainment purposes than anything. My dog will never see a show ring.

4pack

I am not qualified to give a critique other than my own personal opinion.  I think that a good stack picture would better show off what I susppect are some very nice features.

Thanks Poppa but wrangling him into the perfect stack isn't high on my priority list. 1 I don't even know what a "good" stack would be. 2 my dog doesn't wanna stand still, I have no help. I'm doing this all on my own.

I'll work more on his stand stay but that doesn't guarentee the feet stay planted in the "right" spot. I'm not training for the show ring. I "waste" my time actually doing OB and bitework. I throw in my own commands as needed too, like "Give me that" as I point to what I want and he puts it in my hand. Whatever to keep the little monsters brain working and body moving. What I love about the breed is that they actually LOVE doing your bidding. If they only had thumbs, what I would have!

I just came in from working my dog....and I suddenly don't care about his faults. I love my dog and he's great, giant ass and all!

Yeah, but if you stack him & smoosh his front feet & his back feet people will think he's got a roach back which is a hell of a lot better than being confused for an ASS anytime, anywhere in the known universe.
