Hey, maybe the reason the kennel is so big is because at $2500 a pop for a pup I hardly think customer's are beatind down the doors??? lol
I'm the first person that will pay for quality, even over extend my budget to get exactly what I am looking for but no way would I pay that much for a puppy. What if in a couple years and thousands of hours later it's not what you hoped it'd be?? Then what? You could never recoup your money.
BTW I thought the dog was ugly too. lol
EkVon- Good Lord what in the world is your hubby feeding that poor cat? lol It looks like it swallowed some puppies.

Do right - to answer your question NO the dogs don't even look at the cat, they all have had a run in once or twice with him. He is a mean kitty
Pictures to prove it!!!!

the other day i was looking at a kennel page (seemd like a big one-but nice) and they had trained dogs...level 3 started at $15,500--is that normal? it was the kennel that i guess my pups grandmather came from..it was on her pedigree page..well, come to think about it...if the kennel on her page owned her and breed her (the comment area on her pedigree page said something about future puppies) ...that would mean my dogs mother or father came from that kennel right?..

someone knew the Koermeister or he knew the dogs' working reputation - favoritism, teacher's pet - the tail probably got some brownie points too.
Molly I do not think Asko needed any brownie points he was first breed surveyd into KKL2 after his achievements and known producing strength the dog was up graded to KKL1 who is to say a dog such as him should only be rated KKL2 ( suitable for breeding ) he deserves a KKL1 ( recommendet for breeding :))
Years ago both factors played a part in classifing a dogs breed survey class today it is to much about structure :))

That's what I said Pia - "the Koermeister knew the dogs' working reputation". Right? He definately deserved everything he got. I know a dog who was ugly as heck - so long in the back he looks like a limosine - G rated. Owner took him in for his Koering, expecting a G KKl-2 no problem with that. He took the helper down and showed such strong protection work, he was given KKl1 - so now he is G KKl-1 :) So I know it happens.
