Steve,

I saw your Leerkopf web site.  If we ever cross paths, please remind me not to piss you off.

Steve Leigh, you are a true American hero! Thank you for all of your help exposing this turd monger Frawley! He clearly ripped off thousands of unwitting people. If the quality of his breeding program was as big as his head, it would have worked...

Oh my gosh I am laughing my BUTT OFF, you guys are cracking me up! I cant wait to go home tonight and visit leerkopf. When I first got involved with GSD's his website intrigued me. BUT the more eductacted I have became, the more I thought  about him and how he is so focused on the bucks $$$. And the "over 300 litters" hahahahahaha yeah I agree with Ugly Dog, thats just PHAT CASH in his pocket.  I'd never give Leerburg a penny, I'd rather search for a breeder that put their heart into producing the best pup they can; with yes...two titled parents, especially for start price of $1800! Thanks guys, I have been laughing so hard! My day is complete :)

Steve

I hadnt seen the new links-thanks!  I found your site hilarious AND informative. Your table training was very cool. It helped me in many ways. And I like and refer your site to others because you are Dead Honest, and I appreciate that in this world of dogs, thats so hard to find, sadly.

As they say, Revenge is a dish best served cold. Im glad that your site is 6 yrs old and is seen by many.

"Honest Ed" has to be freakin..he's been exposed.   Best to you, amigo.

My X has a dog from leerburg, and the dog is quite nice, although he is monorchid. His father is the dog with a BH, and from what I have been told by club members of the original owners, he is quite the pain in the ass to train. They said he was a very good dog, but a bit much.

I disagree with lots that Ed has said, but I really do not perceive him as a bad guy. I think he is a good business man, and when it comes to dogs, I know that pisses a lot of people off.

I prefer a stud dog that is over the top, so Otis would have been a choice, if I had the money, or if I was looking for a stud dog to use.

As far as producing 300 litters, the only thing I would change about what he did was try and get the guy to produce more of a line, instead of how he did it. He had some really good stud dogs. I also think that breeders that produce 1 litter a year are highly over-rated. I think that there are too many variables when starting to breed to accomplish anything more than learning how to care for pups, raise them, and sell them that way. Breeding a larger number of litters shows you who produces, and what lines do best. It is a really unfortunate side effect. What can you do??? fucked if you do, and fucked if you don't.
