Sunshine, I just knew Galy had to be a beautiful baby - just look at him now .

Very nice.
Our boys have some of the same lineage. Fedor Arminus, Uran vom Wildsteiger Land
, and Fanto vom Hirschel are in my boys lines too on the father's side with Uran being 5 generations back on the mother's side.
yes that was us. thank you.
Wow, who are they hoping to get as a judge?
I've here and there been doing some stuff in CT with both my HGH dogs. Ike has his AKC herding titles and I'm hoping to maybe get some points towards an AKC herding trial championship with him in the fall. My bitch is out of one of Ulf's breeding and I might enter her in started.

It's not the greatest stacked photo of her, but check out her other photos. Ike's too. There's herding and schutzhund pics.

Rezkat, I know Berta's mom, Daphne, and her wonderfully sweet daughter, Paige. What a fabulous family of dog people!!

Small friggin world!
Paige just had a litter of malamutes pups. Well, not paige personally but her echo.
Yes indeed, very good people!
I train with Daphne, Berta, Elka (Berta's pup) at our schutzhund club. As well as Susan who has another littermate Eian. My bitch is Elexa.

Rezkat,
That is the most creative stack photo of Ike. When you come to Texas with him for another HGH trial, I'll help you get him in a show stack, if you wish. LOL. I enjoyed that.
You have a puppy from Daphne's lovely female. That E litter must have been something else. . .
They are hoping for Wilfred. Hope they can get their act together and reproduce sheep like crazy. One problem is the bitework as most of the people are AKC herding people and not all dogs are GSDs. . . (Briards on the most part too). I think that is one of the biggest obstacles to overcome.
There is a very active herding club though and they have a big AKC herding trial over 2 weeks. It is alot of fun and the people involved are really great (including the judges). Very welcoming to strangers.

Well, I will tell you this. The protection test after the HGH now is more of a tradition. The protection test after the HGH does not affect the dogs score at all. Sure it's nice to see the pronounced in the scorebook. Scheld did not require the dogs to bite the sleeve. I think that in Germany this is the case as well. Actually didn't want the dogs to get a bite. This is a recent rule change. I don't know why it was changed. When Voigt was there in September he said the dogs can bite if we wanted them to.
LOL on Ike in the kiddie pool. I couldn't help myself there. I did have a more correct photo up there, however he set himself up kinda OK there. Here's a little better one. Crap, it's huge! Anyone know how to make the pics come out smaller on here?
If I could ever get enough time off I'd love to come down and do some trialing.
Yes, two of Berta's pups got the HGH title at the young age of 18 months! Granted they weren't fully trained, but were able to make it through respectively!

Rezkat, Ike is bigger than my PC screen. LOL. I will email you when I have info on trials. I bet they would love you to come down and give a seminar, considering all of your experience. You're more than welcome here. My email is traindogs@hotmail.com
