He fell asleep on the couch, feeling ill.
That was AFTER he loaded his dog up, drove home, turned the car off, walked into the house, without giving a thought to his partner's demise. If he was too sick to let the dog out of the car when he himself exited, then he should have gotten on the cell phone and called for help. If he was too sick to let his dog out of the car, he should not have put every other persons in vehicles he encountered on the drive home at risk, he should have called for an ambulance for himself and called his boss to come pick up the dog....that's what a responsible person would have done. A responsible person would NOT have let the dog die an agonizing death, unable to exit the vehicle because it's a dog, dependent on its human caretaker who didn't. Dogs being euthanized around the world does not excuse nor justify what the guy caused.

I actually don't care what the law does to any cop who allows his dog to suffer and die in a hot car, Lanhua, so if he meets up with your Bubba or my Bubba or ends up in the Coliseum fighting a lion, then he can just take what he gets just as did his dog. If you want to continue to make this a big moral issue and call me a crude, rude person, be my guest. A nice diversion from the real issue and from more discussion of your arrogant statements. If you don't understand the meaning or intent of a metaphor or an analogy, buy a dictionary. What you think of me is of absolutely no concern to me whatsoever. My concern is the same as Joanro's - that another ass with a badge doesn't cook his dog inside a hot car and that if he does he gets the strongest penalty allowed by law. Evidentally you disagree on that too. Yes, off with his head and you can take that anyway you wish.

WTF do gas chambers and euthanizing dogs have to do with an officer of the law allowing his dog to die from heat prostration inside a squad car?
