Sitasmom, they take algebra and calculus in HS; compound interest is a walk in the park. The parents need to teach their kids basic money management, don't you think? It starts with earning a wage, managing that wage, and paying obligations. Not rocket science. Believing you are getting something for nothing, like using bankruptcy to solve your immaturity is not going to happen.

my son took much math, graduated 2 years ago...........eximplary rated school
he has no idea of th practicle side of any of the advaned math classed too.......... algebra, statistis, calxulas.
he has no idea of compounding istrest or loan payoffs.
