Guess what she's really pissed off about now is the fact that people are allowed to come here looking for help to save dogs that she considers large hairy rats.

Glad the admin folks have some common sense and decency.

I also realize we cannot save them all so why can't we just try to stick to the GSD's that need rescued?  JMO  Nan

I myself am very put off by those that say there are too many rescue posts.
Rather sickened actually. Just because you prefer Shepherds, does not mean people don't save other dogs.
I just rescued 4 total mutts, maybe some of you wouldn't, but SOME OF US WILL. WTF
What else could we expect from the OT queen who will buy chickens so she can legally KILL dogs not to her liking.
Hit a couple extra keys to move away from the rescues if you don't like it. Really WTF

Really unbelievable for those to complain about to much rescue. I actually enjoy seeing dogs saved one after another DUE TO THE DATABASE.

Sounds to me like certain individuals need to learn how to read a 24 hour time clock. 10 posts between 20:01 and 0:01 is not a minute...lmfao it's 10 posts in 4 hours.

I say if people don't want to see the rescues posts then quit bitching and crying and go to the forum they wish to go to directly without using the latest post page. just my .02...but if you're gonna come in here and repeaedly say something is flooding within in a minute, atleast learn what the hell you're talking about. (IE....educate yourself on the 24 hour time clock so you understand it's actually not 1 minute, it's 4 hours).

Fawn. You cannot save them all, you have your limits, as do we all. The point of creating the rescue forum on here was to expand those limits! To make the impossible possible.   It has been made real by people linking up all across the country and saving dogs that couldn't or wouldn't have been saved before.  It has been remarkable.  I am still astonished by the original post.

I am sure admin will recognise abuse or spam when they see it and deal with it.  In the meantime, the PDB has helped expand the limits of assistance for rescue dogs by enabling people to link up and help where they can.

Accepting that we cannot save them all is something every rescuer has to accept, but it should never, ever stop us from trying. JMO

jonrob - if you read the rest of the thread................my infrence was that these dogs were being treated like dirty little rats and not like dogs.........it wasn't a joke i is the truth.......they are not being treated like dogs (or any other animal) should be treated........get past it..

How should dogs be treated?  Should they be PTS for poor behavior, tied to a 2x4 and allowed to jump over a fence and hang itself?  Should the neighbors dogs be shot for going onto your property?  Should they be bred then dumped, I mean placed in a "Loving forever home?"    I suppose if dogs are puppy producing machines for a little puppy factory, then yes lets get rid of the rescue section....It certainly may cut into sales.  After all these new paid for classifieds are what this site is all about and breeders ( I use that term very loosely) errrrr puppy makers should have total say.
