<< You talk as if you are an authority on the Sport of Schutzund to pass it off so scathingly, You do not have a clue as to what work goes into it yet you talk as if you are an expert>>
Now Steve, you have the wrong person. I never spoke as if I was an authority on the sport of sch. Actually, I have stated the very opposite to that, more than once on this thread. I only stated an opinion as to what I notice goes on or not, during a sch trial and surely that doesn't make me an expert in something I don't know much about. The most I know about it without a doubt, is that I have no interest in it. But that doesn't mean I can't state my opinion.
Sueincc,
No, there will be no need for another round. Seems you are looking for an argument. I think the last round exposed everything that needs to be exposed. And no, I didn't take anything as a bitch slap and I surely didn't try to insult you in anyway. I don't have to do that. Perhaps what you consider an attempt of me insulting you could be considered a bitch slap. Never intended it that way though.
Why do you want to keep this thread off topic from the original post? Seems you are the one that wants to continue arguing, because I did not respond to you since yesterday. I do believe I was responding to Steve to clarify something for him. It had nothing to do with you.
Have a good day sueincc, and I only hope the moderators see that I am once again only responding to a direct statement directed to me, and I am not the one starting the trouble all over again. Had you not directed your statement at me, I never would have given you a second thought. Now I will do just that. Have fun arguing by yourself.

However I for one have never trained a PP Dog
But i do know Dogs in general and a Dog which is being trained for PP would i expect learn to bite the sleeve first and foremost then go on from there, A dog trained in the Sch is no different it can and would train on to be a PP Dog of that i have no doubt, Not so much if it was getting on in years but a young dog no problem.
Now we come to these PP dogs you Guys are so keen on in the States
In that Video the Handler got an immediate reponse from the Dog as he should do. Now let us say that Dog is finally fully trained to go to do the Job it was trained for. Now i am the person who the dog is coming to, Do you think that dog will respond to me as it has to its Handler in the Video when it arrives at my house, Of course it will not.
I cannot see the good of a Dog like that unless the new Owner is trained along side the Dog to start with, it is the new Handler who will be controlling the dog in the future not the guy training it
What i am saying is this how can anyone expect to just take over a dog like that and expect it to do as it is commanded to do of course it will not only in time, but the handler owner needs to be trained as well, The company who trained the dog does not know the capability of the new owner,He or She may know diddly squat about dogs in general

The military constantly switches dogs and handlers and the dogs work just fine. I'm sure for $45, 000 or $65, 000 they offer the handler some training. We even have Police Dogs that change handlers for various reasons, the dog still works just as trained. In the case of a poor handler the dogs skills will diminish over time with out proper follow up training. That dog is a nice dog and a "sport" dog as well. That dog will work regardless, he is just a good dog.

You actually understood what was meant by that double negative !? Left me bewildered. I'm very impressed, but that's nothing new from me, about you.

You give me too much credit. I just know how to translate the deep south jargon. I think you are special too, I always get a good laugh out of your posts.
