my rifle had a 9lb 13 oz trigger pull from the factory.  I got it down to 3 lbs, that's as low as it would go and still be safe.  But after being used to a almost 10lb pull, 3 feels like a hair trigger now

Zdog,
The trigger, chamber , twist, and crown are the most
important thing I think.. Especially in a matched barrel for
extreme accuracy.

I dropped my rifle on purpose to see if the trigger would fire,
and it did not. But I still take extra precautions. My trigger is a
custom job and has no creep at all. The  rifle is vey  acurate.

Some like their trigger so light they only need to use mental telepathy.
8oz or so.  My Springfield TDM out of the factory 9 m hand gun
is so light , I have be careful not to accidentally discharge it. It is
one of the best 9m handguns I have ever owned.

I think of good dogs the same way. You may have to be more
careful about your use of them...But the pay offs are much better.
