 I got her pretty cheaply...she was 4mos. old, part of a trade that went bad between buddies due to the bitch not having enough males, and the guy wanted pick male. He got her and her sister instead for a stud fee, or some story like that. You know...same old story when you make deals on pups and not money. I think I only paid about $400 for her...I'd have to go look though. I think they thought she was too small or something and they were really pulling one over on me, or at least that's the idea I got when I picked her up. I met her grand dam as well; very nice bitch. I'm quite sure they thought I was this clueless chick from the suburbs that they pawned the runt off on. I laughed on my way home at what I ended up paying. I was able to talk the guy down a bit. Her temperament was obviously great from the get-go, I really liked her grand dam, and I really lucked out on the ped. I could find very few dogs bred the way I wanted. I had a friend helping me on this one. I was told to be prepared to pay $700-1100, but I didn't end up having to. I found her on craigslist, actually. LOL

 Check craigslist often; half of the idiots rehoming don't even know what they have. I had a very hard time getting a breeder to admit to breeding any real Pits, let alone offer to sell me one. I don't know anyone in that 'arena' so to speak, and they all seem to have gone underground for obvious reasons. I wish you luck; it wasn't easy and I think I just got lucky. You can try ADBA shows; you might be able to find someone w/pups if you asked around there. Let me know what you find;-)

beautiful dogs. On a side note Jenni I went and got 2 patterdale terriers for a friend last week. It was funny when I looked at the pedigree and saw Floy Beaudreax and Clemons bred the litter. some sparky little dogs.

When it came to pits they were known for heavy Eli dogs.
