Lief - they did take fluid out. It was milky...pus. Found white cells. Inflammation. The Clavamox was likely for that but I don't know. Tbhe lump is still there. It appeared same time as fever. The fever is gone but the lump is there.
Hot compresses? Cabbage leaves? They don't know what it is per se.

I would think it would take time for the lump to reabsorb..I've never heard of cabbage compress?

Any updates on your girl? Mine did stop bleeding last week. We go for ultrasound next week. If I had to guess, I would say she is pregnant.

Well she just vomitted. So I am guessing she is pregnant.

Hi. Her ultrasound did show a couple pups. I hope there are a couple more than a couple. Still bleeding however so a specialty ultrasound scheduled in a week or so.
And yes, treating for mastitis. That would likely explain mild fever and her white cell shift - fever gone and lump is a mite smaller.

hi , ithink this is serious case ,it happened to one of my bitch which get pregnant with one of great orbit son 3days before delevery it get dark brown blood in the delvery,all 6puppies porn dead, they are complete, isold her with very very cheap price, itold the new owner that it aborted in the second litter inspite it deliverd before and get alive puppies, for this reason he took this nice female nearly free , he told me one month ago she get pregnant and all 13 puppies porn dead,ok check Brucellosis and other infection,ultrasound shoud be done immediatly ,if it get aborted some doctors prefere to spay her but if there is no Brucellosis, heavy antibiotic and vaginal pessering need before another breeding one time after abortion and second during the next cycle .

Well we have a bit more info now. Another ultrasound has shown 1 heartbeat and 2 empty sacs. She is still bleeding a bit. I don't know whether she is losing everything or whether only a couple were affected. And being ultrasound I don't know how accurate the count it. I am distressed.

Thanks to all for time and opinions. It was pyo. She was spayed the next day after we found fluid in uterus.
