They are always ON they do not have the so called ON-Off switch which is too prevalent in breeding outside Holland/ Belgium. They need a handler with utmost energy to keep up with their insatiable desire to WORK WORK WORK & MORE WORK.

As Stephanitz said a Dog constantly in motion, never still. The epitome of what a GSD should be.

My 2 cents. But do your own research. Take the time to study the Tiekerhook School of GSD bloodlines. Sad we do not have enough breeders having the same quality and seriousness to their breedings today.

Equalizer
Get your facts right
I answered the thread as others did
Vikram was sarcastic in his reply for some reason only known to him.
Then you piped up with your snide remarks so do not put the onus on me
i guess you can hide behind words your sort usually do, In real life facing someone you would run home to hide behind your mothers apron or skirt
And Yes, the Questions were there another cover up Job by you. Read the post again and answer them, if you can but in reality you know you are wrong but not MAN enough to own up to it, too many of your sort on this forum all Talk., but no substance once they leave the computer

Vikram
As i said i have watched Julien and Dusty work many times over here, also in Sevilla, There are many Dogs over here of those Lines, some good, some not so good, But Julien and Dusty are a very good  partnership indeed
Get a Well bred Dog bought up and handled by someone who knows what they are doing then you get the real deal.
Get a Well bred Dog with some one who does not know what they are doing and what do you get. An ordinary dog
I took a fair amount of Photos of Julien and Dusty, They would have been put on here but all gone when my Camera was stolen as was the Photos of Como and Ronny some great Pic's i had as well, real close up's

FOOD for THOUGHT !                                I had the first TIEKERHOOK dog here in the states back in 1990 "Orthos van Tiekerhook" Sch 3, IPO 3, WPO, DPO .....all titles came from me. No one knew Koos Hassing ...How things change for the better over the years..  Many people here are so against the Fero line ..................  In one of my visits with Koos he told me himself that he was first to breed to Fero when no one else would. Koos is quite genuine but straight to the point. I went to my first BSP with Koos back in 1995. If any one of you see or talk to Koos soon ..... you tell him I said HELLO .by the way.... A super foundation bitch back in his lines is .... Estera v Tiekerhook ...(solid black).... Regards ..... Retired K9 Deputy - Greg Mominee

Great dogs are born, not made! A great dog with a great handler equals a great team.

Equalizer, don't take it to heart, we've all been there as one point or another, lol.

Well some harsh comments ain't it.

As much as the breeder is important you cannot take it away from the handler who equally puts in a lot of effort.

Why are we complicating things.

"A super foundation bitch back in his lines..."  A very well known judge and trainer I know says that a great kennel is started by a great foundation bitch.  Just an observation...The strength of bitches and their power and talent should be considered more stringently in breedings.  Not just a SchH1 female that got a title for breeding, but great females that bring power, attitude and hard mental ability...
