Sorry for your loss.  It is hard to loose them.  But think of all they gave in the short time they are here.

He sounds like my late Aussie bitch.. as one gent said.... "Dat dog has teeth all the way back to her EYEBALLS!!!"

Misty passed a couple of years ago, still the same brave wonderful rescue that was once deemed "Incurably vicious" she went on to do pet therapy, serve as our donor dog for blood transfusions and as office greeter for many years. What others see as a stone, was truely a Diamond in the Ruff...

RIP Duke... glad you found someone who understood who you were

Hans and Debbie:  My heartfelt  sympathies for your loss.   It's evident by your words he was a much loved dog who gave you a lot in return.  You saved his life and treasured him for what he was.  Sounds like his name was very fitting.  Old GSDs are so special, look at his eyes in those pictures, they say it all.

RIP BIG DUKE

What a beautiful story of faith and loyalty. You stood by your dog!

They never leave us... they become a part of us and remain in our hearts and by our sides.
