Uglydog.... not discounting the obvious, just trying to see beyond it and dont take everything that I see without questioning it. The story has been confirmed by the News, that satisfies my scepticism about it. Yet, as you said, the intelligence that warranted the search is balony, and an evidence tape filmed by a swat member made it to youtube. This is unexcusable and the chiefs head should be rolling.

The tape was released under the Freedom Of Information Act after the criminal proceedings were resolved.

I live in the Columbia area and there has been a lot of talk about this since it was made public a couple of days ago. The local police chief has been on the radio lately and justifies it by saying that we dont write the laws, we just enforce them. On an unrelated note the same dept is getting license plate scanners soon.

No Keith, sounds more like the Bolshevik Communists, the ones that Slaughtered 66 Million Christians in Russia from 1917-1949. There was no show trial like a Nuremburg for them, however. Where confessions under torture were accepted.
Nazis fought Communists and were a Buffer From Communism.
Those imprisoned and arrested by the Nazi Germans were most often Communist collaberators and included Freemasons, some Jesuit Catholics and many Jewish collaberators.
This police Chief is a Thug, and is now enforcing any law. THis is NOT how warrants are serve or should be served.
They can simply intercept the homeowner coming and going from work, daycare, food store or knock on his door.
If that doesnt work, then use physical force.
