Big storm on the way. And YR, it will be coming your way soon too. 170 knot jet stream will be driving it, so for parts of So. Colorado and NM early next week, probably blizzard conditions. 2-5 feet of snow in the southern and central mountains. Snow amounts east of the foothills will depend on the exact tract of the storm, but starting tonight or tomorrow, we will see several inches I suppose, perhaps more, cold temps, and then even colder temps and winds. I hate winter!

Hmmmmm

Those cranes aren't just from another time, Moons. They're from another CENTURY.
The ones flying over this year are probably their great-great-great-great grand-hatchlings, or whatever the %#*& they call crane progeny.

Time we figger out what's makin all that noise, an where its commin from, an git the camra out, an find our glasses, and steddy ourselfs aginst sumpthin that don't move, an remeber wich button to mash on, the damned thangs are allreddy comin back t'other way.

Two Moons:   My  dogs drink out of Stainless Steel  Pots ...the camp pot with two handles  with a cowclip  holding it to the kennel fencing....Mine demolish any bowl or drinking bowl......

Hodie:    The only part I do not like is when the ice gets on the electric lines and I lose power for  4 ,, 5  ,  6   ,, 7 ,, 8, days...Running a generator drives me up the tree,,sound is defining  and with gas at $2.50. a gallon again,,,really puts me in a bad mood.

I  got my   Medicare Notification yesterday , nice blue paper from ole Uncle Sam... Maybe I will go stay at the Salvation Army center...

Let someone else pay for me....

Gonna hang the little blue paper on the Christmas tree....spray it with snow ...and say   HAIL  HAIL  HAIL

That was the only picture I had on the computer,  I judge the seasons by when certain birds fly through.
Don't believe in Wooly Worm lore.
Yes getting older sucks.
Usually the Cranes pass through in early to mid November.
Chance of a few flurries this next week, Jeep is still in the shop.

Here is Houston, its pretty cold, all my tropical plants are wilted, frost got'em. Clouds are in ths sky and its gloomey. Dogs got their workouts earlier, now we're waiting for the rain....Cant remember it being so cold and cloudy so early in the year down here. This type of weather usually comes much later, like mid January

LOL- I wish I could come with such funny stuff............
http://townhall.com/columnists/DougGiles/2009/12/05/it%E2%80%99s_got_to_suck_to_be_a_climavangelist!
What are the global warming grunts going to do now that the Apostles of the Holy Church of Climatology have been busted for cooking the “truth” (I believe the exact word they used was “tricking” us) so that we the sheeple would step-n-fetch to their Chicken Little crap? What will chunky Al Gore do seeing that he has officially slammed into a veritable inconvenient truth?
LOL

Hey, it's blasted cold here today!

The temps only made it to a whole sixteen degrees, with horrendous wind all day, blowing the little bit of snow we had all over the place...Now we're have major dust storms, and the funn thing is it rained a few days ago, before it snowed and turned down cold, but it looks like the middle of summer right now, with all those clouds of dirt blowing around...It's cold...Let's see, the wind is blowing at least forty five MPH, so with the temp at about 10, that makes the windchill factor a whopping -16...And the windgusts up to sixty make the temporary windchill factor a balmy -19, as long as the temp doesn't drop any more, which it will because it is currently clear and the sun is setting.  If it drops to zero tonight, the windchill factors will be down in the -30 degree range!  How's that for December weather?  There's no mud here, it's blowing around in big clouds!

Just checked the weather on our local station's website...Tomorrow is to be a sultry 17 degrees, with an overnight low in Spokane of five degrees...With the windchill factor and the wind we are having, that adds up to a minimum windchill factor of -23 degrees, and it will likely get far colder...They are calling it "bitter cold".

Incredibly cold is the word for it!
