No, my wife got a puppy out of Orry & Hafa.  She already had a Hafa daughter out of Reno Jipo Me.  Great dogs, both of them, but the Orry pup was one of my favorites ever, and couldn't wait for the day to breed her to my Tiekerhook male.  Both girls are working in schutzhund, and either one or both will still be bred to him one day.  When the wife left me a year ago, I planned to get one for myself  from a repeat breeding of Orry and Hafa, but it will have to wait until after my move to Montana, and now I've considered from a different breeding to Orry instead.

I buried my Tiekerhook male last March...Orthos v Tiekerhook /anika furstenburg///    Greg was friends with the Dr. who owned Anika and I often wondered who Greg  MOMinee was.  I handed out his pic for years with Orthos  as my males grand sire..as a Gal CO. SO apprehension k9 was the sire of my male, one heck of a dog. I have his daughter here now and she is a dream dog.. Gsdtravels tried to steal her but she had pups so she couldn't stuff all of them in her suitcase.
lol..
Now I can talk to Greg  personally...a real great feeling to meet the man who gave me the 1/3 backbone to some of my breedings...

I have a black bitch with Orthos in her, back 3rd gen. with Vedor and  Nick  v  Lascher-haus   as the grand sires....

She produces healthy , well structured  pups with high drives and beauty...she looks a lot like Esthera..as her son Asko von Dunkel Walds, is the grand sire on the female side of the sire...  got some Van Ruben Flugel  and Korbeltal on her moms side..

I  , if I have one more litter , may breed my  sable male to her., but he has never been bred and may not produce.
curious what the pups will be.
Will have him checked before I count on it..

You said:
I wouldn't say Norbo produced big bulky heads, except when bred over Gero. I'll second Jiri's "4th bloodline" if head size and dark sable is your priority, through Gero>Xac>Reno. Not sure how Norbo fits in the 4th bloodline.

Sometimes I am stunned by some of the statements here, and than I must take a timeoff before I  respond in order to stay on the polite side of the fence... Norbo most definitely improves total bone structure which includes heads too. Gero had smaller head then Norbo! Yes you will get "also" big heads with Norbo and Gero but "not because" of Gero but because of Norbo.

Also!!!!:
Norbo fits into 4th bloodline because he is 4th bloodline.

Just to make a point here are some examples:
Nurbo Jipo Me (son of Norbo Ben Ju):
http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/siblings/520726.htm
You can see Nurbo Ji po Me here.

Next do not forger females with Norbo and no Gero:
Cira jipo me:
http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/524779.html

Next would be Haki z Jirkova dvora with feminine but big head:
http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/531950.html
Anyway
that should do it I can go on and on.
Other dogs producing bid heads are Grim (But not Dargo who has small head from his mother side.), Treu v Schaferstolz ,Bojar v. Schotterhoff.

And while I have no intention of causing offense, I cannot see the connection of Norbo to the "4th bloodline", founded by Utz v. Haus Schutting (which Gero is descended from).

Norbo obviously didn't produce his brother, and while Cira is a very nice looking female, I don't agree that she has a "blocky head type".  Haki's mother appearantly is a cross of Norbo over Gero.

No offense taken. However on all 4 points you have  made these mistakes.
1. Norbo Ben Ju and Nurbo Jipo Me are not brothers but Norbo Ben Ju is a father of Nurbo Jipo Me.
Here is a better link on Nurbo:
http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/520726.html

2.Here is Norbo Ben Ju's connection to 4th bloodline:
Norbo Ben Ju
Cezar z Janosikovej Ulice
Alex z Dumy
Axel Vrebela
Rolf Big-Bor
Droll Ringarten
Gero vom Katharinentor
Cäsar von der Malmannsheide
Hein vom Richterbach
Billo vom Oberviehland
Odo zu den Sieben-Faulen
Brando vom Heidelbeerberg
Hussan vom Haus Schütting
Utz vom Haus Schütting

Hussan vom Haus Schütting
Came from 3rd blood line and my most favored dog: Klodo vom Boxberg
If you have problem with this Jiri is going to be in my house here in Arizona on Jan 18th 2010 and I and him can teach you how to do this.:)

3. Yes Haki is having nice but smaller head despite that she is Norbo and Gero. That was my point which I did not made quite well.

4.Cira off course has a huge head for a female.
With all due respect.

Well, my opinion would be to suppose the given "number" bloodline is just one arbitrary dog in the pedigree.  Truly only significant if the selection of males of the sireline descent were chosen for the same criteria, purely for each decendant.  But that aside, my assumption of the bloodline is taken from the information posted under each producing stud of the Jinopo website.  That's why I don't understand the connection I guess.  It seems inconsistent with your comments.

Could you post a couple more Norbo offspring?

Here
you have Chyma z PS and some of the dogs I am talking about are in her Grim, Troy, Norbo. Thus nice big head (for a female)

Yeah, that is definitely a better example. But, from overall Norbo production, could it be more the exception than the rule? For example, I seem to find much greater frequency of blocky head types coming through the 5th bloodline (Held>Bero>Titus). Although, I realize it's difficult to quantify like so, having so many various genes involved.

Norbo did not produce as much extreme heads but strong heads and strong bone structure quite consistently and improved it in lesser females. He had no consistent problems. Titus z PS also improved structure and produced in some instances more extreme heads and improved hips but was passing monorchism down the line for many generations, especially if you linebreed on him. Sometimes total genetic dominancy is not that good I guess. That is why I like Norbo slightly better but Titus z Pohrnaicni straze and Norbo Ben Ju are in the same class. I am always trying to look at the whole dog. And when I see Titus or Norbo in the pedigree I always smile.   We are saying here what is better, Ferrari or Lamborghini?  Heads in  Titus came from Held v Ritterberg one of the founding dogs z Pohranicni straze.
