i HAVE ONLY HAD TWO DOGS BITTEN IN ALL THE YEARS  I HVE BEEN HERE...ONE WAS MY COCKER PUPPY WHEN I JUST MOVEI HERE AND HE WAS ONLY A BABY.....

ABBY GOY BIT LAST MONTH AND LOST 4 OF HER PUPS AS SHE WAS 4 DAY OUT FROM WHELP....I HAVE WALKED UP ON MANY OF THEM ON GROUND   CLOSE TO HOUSE,  OUT BACK NEAR KENNELS , AND EVEN BY MY FRONT GATE...AS I COME INTO THE PROPERTY...

MY SONS  REMINDS ME ALL THE TIME   KEEP THE MOWER MOVING AND KEEP ALL LEAVES AND WOOD CLEANED UP..
I HAVE BIG STACKS OF FIREWOOD AND THE 4  HUGE ONES WERE UNDER A STACK OF LUMBER, TREATED THAT I STACKED TWO MONTHS AGO...NO SNAKES IN IT THEN....

NO TELLING HOW MANY I HAVE WALKED RIGHT BY...I USE RIDING LAWNMOWER AT NIGHT AND I WEAR TALL RUBBER BOOTS... I KEEP SHOVELS,  MACHETTES,  HOES,   SHARP  TOOLS OF ANY KIND WITH LONG HANDLES IN SPOTS ALL OVER THE PROPERTY...

THREE OF THESE WERE UP BY THE HOUSE AND THAT SCARES ME....MY SON HAS ONE BABY COPPERHEAD IN A LARGE HAND HELD TOOL BOX FILLED WITH     DE   AND IT IS STILL ALIVE....DO NOT UNDERSTAND....I THOUGHT IT WOULD SCRATCH THE TUMMIE AND IT WOULD DIE BY NOW......DO NOT KNOW IF THAT STUFF WORKS OR NOT...DOESNT SEEM TO.....IT WORKS ON BUGS AND FLEAS....BUT    SNAKES   I AM NOT BELIEVING IT DOES...???

Joe t:

I am going to town to day  and buy many boxes of  MOTH BALLS>>>>Lady down the road said to put  SULFUR on ground around....do not know if anything works  but  I will go with moth balls....Gardeners use moth balls wrapped in old panty hoses around fruit trees and plants they have to ward off pests... and I use them in my attic...My mom, a northerner., said her family used them for years up north to make sure valuables didnt get silverfish in them ....
