Yah Gouda was a plant when he said it was super great health care in Canada  and Raymond is just a mis infomed foul mouth who when confronted with truth wants to curse he must be a closet democrat LOL Raymond is either so dumb or has his head between his legs-  the union played a big part in GM's dismise along with dear leader and coupled with poor economy in general go lay down Raymond you havent had your union nap today.    Once again sitasmom knows what the score is and that is just how they do off sick more than they work and the union wages and benefits go up and up until the collapse and then they sit around and scratch their heads and wonder why.  I bet my x brother in law never worked a full seven days at that plant before it closed the whole time he was employed and there were just as many like him and the union standing there anytime a job was changed or a fart to make sure they were sent home or did not do too much work...when you figure the guy off getting 80 percent on sick leave with zero wrong and someone taking his place making the same hourly the whole mess got to expensive for any company to survive- i worked long hard hours for a fraction of what he made and if I was sick had to get back to work living pay check to pay check but ole brother in law the longer the better he would plan on going to the plant nurse getting sent home then his family doctor from there to the specalist by the time they figured nothing was wrong he had three weeks or a month off with salary  .

I saw too many men (mostly) doing the least they possibly could to get their paycheck............doing more, or doing better was frowned against.......it was, well, just wrong.

My parents brought me up the right way. They tought me to be the best i could be........to work harder and smarter then every one else and that by doing so I would advance........

Well that is not the way unions work...........It is not the American Way. It is a socialist way of working and it sickens me!

pretty close but apprentices are too lazy and pussified since we let the government regulate school in order to get federal support..we get a bachelor degree in applied science through ivy tech here in indy when we complete our apprenticeship program.i guess it hasnt hurt anything.just to let you know i hate my job,but i aint smart enough to do anything else but carpentry.lol

i am one of those young ones keeping your pension going.i started at 18 so the union way is the only way i know.hopefully i can finish my career in the same manner.this is the first year that the economy has started affecting the company i work for.ive been with this company most of my time and it runs a little different than most union shops around here.we all just do whatever needed to keep production going.we help everyone (laborere and operators) but of course when it comes to putting material in the wall ts up to the good ole masons.
