actually Sue, can you tell us all what Crufts Judge and what show I have ruined with my antics?
EDITIED
My antics at the Cambridge Show was only being reported for Double Handling, I was not rude in anyway which was also said and had been reported by people trying to cause trouble; I am not the only Exhibitor that Double Handles, am I Sue Belfield with a Whip with Toy on the end? I did not stop this show from continuing, there are other factors to why this show has ended. Also My column in the Breed Council Magazine was all my Honest Opinion of Events, Judging and going on's at shows and with GSD people. I resigned, which Sheila did apologize for what she had written about me in the magazine and actually asked me back to write, but I said NO, because not everybody likes Honest Opinions, as the Show Game is political I did not want to cause any trouble. Is that what you mean by my insulting a Crufts Judge, Sue you made it all look so bad on my behalf, if not, then please explain more, as many people read this, you have made quite a statement on my Character without backing it up, maybe you have listened to too much Chinese Whispers.
Again Kindest Regards
Kerry

Sue, as an after thought, I think the committee have every right to say it's going to be one of the best shows of the year, 2 good honest judges! How do you think they will feel if people are knocking the committee for promoting their own show. regards, Bill Owen.

How about taking this to PMs? There's enough poop on this board.

I think petowner is not all she pretends to be.After all what true "petowner" would really care how or what a long coat class would be judged never mind doing right by the standard.Enjoy the show for what it is meant to be.A tribute to a true German Shepherd now deceased.
Regards
Ally

Steve Foran has asked me to post this
Hi Joyce perhaps you can post for me as my Kaspersky Anit Virus will not allow me to gain my password from Oli thus preventing me from posting. The League Open show is basically my baby. I was asked to put together something and I decided to try to put on something different based on an idea I saw in Holland at the Dutch Sieger show. Basically the breed individuals are done in a smaller ring and then judged in the big ring. In Holland they did the younger classes in this fashion BUT did the two adult classes in the big ring. After lunch the space was altered and then Long Coats were judged in the now empty smaller rings, a little bit like the all breeds do here, no prolonged gaiting just a bit of a triangle. In other rings we saw an ongoing protection demo and agility demos. The agility allowed those willing to have a go, pay a small amount to have a go. At the end of the show there were a LARGE number of people with long coats etc sitting in the stands watching the judging of the adult classes. I thought that I might be able to make this work here, trying to promote a bit of fun for other GSD owners who may not be that bothered about construction, type etc but who nonetheless love their dogs AND like to do things with their dogs. I took the very simplistic view that IF I could encourage someone extra to maybe join the League or BAGSD. Or maybe subscribe to the BC mag or MAYBE even become interested enough to want to show THEN that may just be OK. I started in Agility with a super Ch Fanto v Deimelbergland daughter. Tough as teak, but a nice sort who produced my very first Champ show winner in or around 1987 to Gigant Blue Iris. At that stage I used to go to shows but I did,nt really think I could be part of the show scene as such. Breaking my leg ended my football career and here I am now trying to run a show with just a slightly different feel to it ( I hope ). The show will have the usual breed classes ably judged by Paul and Shirley. Puppy Walk judged by Elaine Lowe. My thoughts here that lunch time is usually when we see the ring full of all young pups so why not add that to the show. Long Coats I ( hopefully ) have covered. Junior handling because Tony was one of the best so why not try to encourage the younger element. There will be schutzhund and agility demos during the day and a Breed Survey. BAGSD, League, Tattoo, Breed Council are all having a stall. I want try to encourage other folk to take part and if that works great. If not well at least I tried. Linda can judge the classes as she wishes for my money. There is not a blue print is there? Basically I am trying to create a bit of interest, hopefully to boost the entry, the income etc so that next year we could maybe offer something again. The people involved are giving their time out of the goodness of their heart, in fact I nearly had a riot because I nearly had two judges for the Long Coat class. One other thing I am taking a bit of time to invite a number of people lost to the breed to the show as guests. Maybe they are not as young as they were BUT I hope to make it an enjoyable day out for us all. These include Jill Wileman, Tonys dad, Roy Allen etc etc The other person on the database ( Newbie ) I think. Not a problem that you have posted what you have, I hope my reply helps everyone understand what is going on here. Yep its my ideas and hopefully we can all enjoy the day including Kerry-Annes mum and dad because they are the people I want at the show as well as all you good hearted souls.
