Hello sundancesharon,
There are many, many dogs advertised here or elsewhere for studs or brooding bitches. If you are clearly not interested in them, then there is no need/reason to put them up for critism. Of course on the contrary, if you like the looks/ the bloodlines etc and is genuinely seeking more feedback, that would be a different matter.
Ultimately we are here to share our views and learn from each other not just to laugh at others and bash what they advertise when its obvious you have no interest in the dog in the first place. That is not learning.

Poseidon,
I have certainly learned here. And again, I did not bash this dog, I WAS interested that she was used for breeding and in Germany where they know what they're doing , so I asked for opinions on her, since she didn't look very good to me. I am always looking at the different dogs and learning more about structure. The Diego thread taught me a lot.

I have to agree with poseidon. You're first post came across very critical on the dog. If you want to learn, do so. If you are interested in a dog, ask. If you are saying things like "I know that I'm a "show line" person, but come on! This girl is posted as a "working line" breeding female in Germany. Would any of you want to breed to her?" that comes across as bashing and or making fun of another dog.
You live closer to many working clubs then some of our club members who come train and title their dogs in Schutzhund. Please don't use that as an excuse, it doesn't sit well with some people.

While she may not be pleasing to the eye she is Koer., hips done and schH 1 so she is breed worthy. Mink lines sometimes produce ugly dogs. Not sure about ear could have been an injury.
Funny thing is she is probably more accomplished then many of the posters dogs that are commenting on her.

Hi animules,
I'm not using the travel as an excuse, even though it is almost 3 hours. My venue up here has been AKC and that has been fine with me. Echo is titled with her CD and , unfortunately my only other girl, Soleil, had herleg broken during the time I was getting her ready for the ring. Her recoup took a long long time. She has a lot of good features and good hips and strong health otherwise. I did want to see what she would produce with one litter. So I did take her through the Therapy Dog Cert. Granted, this is no title, but it does prove her social skills, obedience to certain level and temperament.
I didn't get interested in Schutzhund until I spent time around the Schutzhund2 dog that I bred Echo to; I went to the club and watched him work. I got excited that I would like to pursue this kind of training with a pup. That was several weeks ago.
Just as a note: on Dec 24, Jayne241 posted a showline dog from the advertising section and asked opinions on her. She included that the dog had a bump on her back. Not one poster attacked her personally, only the dog.

Not the best specimen ever, but I have seen worse. Not surprising she looks a little rough realy, 4 litters already, and up for sale as a possible brood? A wonder they have time to train her to work. Another cash cow, quantity, not quality.

Sundance,
I checked your website and you still have some learning to do especially when considering Schutzhund and the working Shepherd. Please hold off on the breedings until you can learn more.
It is going to take more then reading the book by The Monks in New Skete to breed a good Shepherd.
Not a condemption just a concern.

Old thread, but to the point......this bitches' breeder produces the real goods; awesome dogs! I'd take her in a heartbeat, & consider myself so-o-o-o lucky! She'd probably teach me lots! jh
