I did the xrays on Brix's hips and elbows this morning. This is her hips..what do you think? I took a picture of her hips with my digital camera.

Positioning a little bit off, but looks lie OFA good to me.  Looks to have a deep set into the sockets.  If it were my GSD I would be pleased. Congratulations.

Thanks Preston. The vet was VERY happy with them also. He even said that he wouldnt be surprised if they went excellent. That would be great if they did. I will be happy with a good though. The pictures that I took were not that good. I had the camera tilted a little bit. The xrays themself were very straight. I guess all I can do now is wait for OFA to send me the results.

Here is one more picture that I took..it is a little better than the other one that I posted.

It is always nerve racking waiting for OFA to send the results.

Hi jyl,

Brix is related to my Theo von Ryan on the top part of the pedigree,

and Dana von Ryans on the bottom part of her pedigree,
no wonder she's so beautiful!!

Dana just got her results back they were good and Theo got fair.

I think Brix has a good coming her way!

Jyl, the second photo is better and the hips looks very nice.  Also, what is your bitch's bite like and prey and defensive drives. What is your knowledge of the lines she is out of for that?  One of our local police dogs is of czeck border patrol breeding and is very calm, well balanced (a great family pet when off duty) but bites like a bear trap when doing bitework and is afraid of nothing.  He also has very good pigment.
