Mirasmom - HipHip Hooray ! You can breath now ! Congratulations to you & Bonnie. One question though since I am in my 2nd week of waiting .... weren't you worried about calling & bugging them? Were they happy to talk to you? Gimme the number....LOL....I am getting sooo impatient! I got an "We received your xrays email on 11/20....2 to 3 weeks"....uuugggg!

Once the x-ray is taken, what does it cost to have it evaluated by OFA?
And does the dog have to be 15 mo. to get the permanent OFA rating?

The combined fee for hips/elbows is $35.00.
And does the dog have to be 15 mo. to get the permanent OFA rating?
No permanent certification is issued until 24 months or older. Don't worry about calling OFA. People frequently call. Well, I never have--as I'm never worried when I send in the xrays. I have always had good experience and ratings with the OFA.
