I second that Shelley!  Sorry sob's for sure.

I heard they shot and killed one arsonist on the spot the other day.  'Can't say he didn't have it coming.  Wonder how many lives they saved by taking him out.

WIldFire Prevention funds (Federal Budget) were Cut By this administration for other more costly ventures (2 wars) so you had a tinderbox waiting to erupt.   And NM National guard had to come in to assist, as the CA Nat guard is mostly deployed overseas.  National Guard as in Naitonal, Not international, fighting a counter insurgency guerrilla war.

Illegals will soon be back to work in California, and yes they were indeed  Extremists-they Are  ILLEGAL ALIENS who should all be deported back to their 3rd world Sh*thole.. Ike had operation wetback in the 50s. Time to bring it back. Meanwhile in Qualcom stadium, Illegals were stealing supplies for families (water/food) etc.

When will people say..ENOUGH!   Just get in their SUVs and watch their programming tube all weekend.

A Nation deserves what it permits.

The freeways in the San Diego area (the last time I was there) have roadside warning signs to watch for people attempting to run across the freeway.

While I may often disagree (or ignore) most of  the posts of Uglydog, this time he appears to be on the mark.

Not to mention costs for prosecution/conviction (or not)  public defender time, feeding and housing the sorry SOB for who knows how long, raised homeowners' insurance premiums, rebuilding schools, replacing infrastructure, flood-related costs when the no-longer stable hillsides erode with the rains... Even if the family sues everybody is probably way ahead across the board.

I'm wondering if Anne Kent & her dogs are ok.  Has anyone heard anything?

This monsoon season in AZ helped somewhat with the draught but things are still dry.  There tends to be a lot of "dry lightening" around sunset when the rains are ended for the summer. We saw three wildfires start on the mountains we face this summer alone.  It just seemed like that was such a freak thing the first time. But, not after the third.

I heard, also, that this one was arson in California.  We were just on Camp Pendleton three weeks ago.  We camped on one of the beaches on base.  When we were driving we couldn't believe how much drier it was than AZ.

So sad.

One of the ones out here in Canyon Country was  started by a construction crew.

Sueincc, Yes, Anne is fine.  Sunday night was a bit scary, but the dogs and she came through unharmed.
