HAJADA,

Noery + Nick combination also gives very good conformation.

I would take a dog 2-2 on Nick in a heartbeat.

I agree with Lorenzo on Koos knowing what the line breeding produces.

Our A litter is 3-3 on Nick and developing exactly as Koos said prior to the breeding.

I realize this post is a little old, but I thought I'd give my 2 cents. I have a 15 month old female from Max and Noery. I train her in schutzund, but she is also a pet to my family. I have an infant, a six year old, and an eight year old. This dog is super drivey, powerful, and super fun to work, very fast  and fun in obedience, quite civil in the bite work and did I mention drivey? She is sensitive to my corrections in obedience which I like. She requires no cheerleading to maintain drive in obedience. When I bring her home she comes in the house (yes it's at full speed) and is excellent around all my children, their friends, parents etc. She is safe around her food, toys etc. We have construction going on at our house right now...she is loose around the men working, noise, surfaces, etc. She is a bit of a bull in a china shop. She is small, compact and super athletic. She looks very much like Ziggy on the Tiekerhook website.

Her hips and elbows look really good so far (prelim'd about 2 months ago)

I love this dog! She is by far the best dog I've had. I wish I could have 6 more Max/Noery puppies. I can only imagine the power brought by a male from this breeding.

Maybe I just got lucky, but Koos doesn't know me. He just sent me a puppy. I didn't even know what breeding I was getting a puppy out of.

One thing I am unsure of is who would I breed this female to? I guess I will cross that bridge when it comes.

I agree with LCD(Lorenzo) in that when you have the knowledge that Koos has about his dogs for 4 to 6 generations, then you can do something like this successfully. All breeding is about knowledge in conjunction with luck from mother nature! Everybody can't do a 2-2 successfully, but somebody like Koos can!!, because of his indepth knowledge of the dogs he uses.

Koos is coming to the USA in March:  http://elitek9.com/events/hassing.htm .  He'll have Max with him and I'll be there with Feroh, who is linebred  2-3 Nick:  http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/497767.html ,  It will be interesting to hear from Koos firsthand about his breeding practices and to see some of the results in person.
