Sick of police bashing - Page 4

Talk about whatever the hell you want, but the Freakin thread is Not about dogs.  Its human interest story.  Do you Read or comprehend? 

I dont care what youre sick of. Im sick of rogue cops trained by a terrorist agency-the ADL.   Those that speak out against Illegals are to be considered domestic terrorists, according to them.. And Tazing a woman in a wheelchair 10 times until she dies is ok with you, isnt it? Course you have no comment, youre a sheep.

Cops mostly rally around cops,  rogue or not-thin blue line.  They work FOR THE GOVT & the ADL, Not the people, 

Some of you may know I am working on not indescriminately hating cops.  I'm not saying it's going as well as it should, lol, but I'm trying. The problem is that people tend to revile the things that are threatening. I know cops feel threatened. A lot. I also know people feel threatened by cops. Like the guy caught on tape recently harrassing a teen and saying he'll just make up charges. And it DOES happen. I think that's what makes people hate them.  But, when someone is a cop and they get shot for being one it shouldn't be anything but the tragedy it is. I think there are more thugs with badges than there used to be. But, I think there are more thugs everywhere than there used to be. There are more people who will shoot a cop instead of run than there used to be too. I think the sad fact is that the freakin' world is just a whole lot more crazy than it used to be. And it isn't doing anything to help the citizen/cop tensions. It's just a shame. Because I think, mostly, both sides just want the peace and the assholes from both sides make that hard to do and make both sides of the badge paranoid of the other sometimes.

That being said, Policemom, Uglydog is right; you can't start an off dog topic then get huffy when you get off dog responses. Fair is fair.

LEO enforce the Law, they are human, they err sometimes.  Sometimes bad people become cops.  Most cops are good people and want to do the job they were hired for - enforce the laws.  When I grew up most people would never think to run from the police when being pulled over.  Lawlessness gives way to chaos which will give way to anarchy.  I want to live in a peaceful society, with law abiding citizens.  The lady in the wheelchair is a sad example of a bad situation that got out of hand.  No one here was there and no one here knows the WHOLE story.  I get tired of the media finding people guilty without a trial, ruining their lives and always with the reporters BIAS. 

Ultimately, we need boundaries and rules to live by - I don't want to live next to the guy that disagrees with that!

Maybe if more people started respecting the law and not blatantly disregarding it, LE would not have to be "on guard" with people so much, fearing for their lives for not so great salaries and these kinds of incidences would lessen.  Again though the media gives these idiots that "run from the law" their 10 minutes of fame and not so bright others follow suit.  Breaking the law should not be glamorized.

Policemom - I believe you started this topic to make a point that some use this forum for airing their personal issues with other individuals or groups, usually nothing to do with GSD's, police bashing being one of them and you are just asking people to stop and go somewhere else to do their bashing.  LETS TALK ABOUT DAWGS!

Thanks Blitzen, this was actually the 2nd time I wrote it as the first time I lost it and it never quite comes out the same the second time but I think it actually came out better !  Course I had another hour to think about it while speed shopping thru the grocery store!

I do have a little good news to share about my pups - 3 have been placed in sport homes with intentions for Schutzhund, 2 people with 20+years in training gsd's, one (LEO) also trains SAR, Body recovery & narcotics and spent the last year looking for the right pup....

Also, went to my first club meet last Sunday, trainer said my boy Thor has what it takes to title, so excited!  Think I'm gettin bit by the bug!

A grocery store is a great place to think. I do my best thinking while I'm seated on the riding mower. I guess that explains why my brain goes into hibernation during the winter .

You must be excited about those puppies. I've never had a litter of GSD's but often wish I'd have started my dog life with this breed. Now when I want a dog I buy one; it's a lot easier that way.

Clewsk9 I couldn't agree more about the media bias. If I was an alien and watched tv from space I would have no idea about the norm. Only what a handful of journalists decided was worth talking about. And you're right. I, as a citizen shouldn't assume a cop is bad. And a cop shouldn't assume I am bad. And it isn't right to do otherwise. At least that's what I'm trying to put into action.

Blitzen, I truly enjoy the experience of raising pups!  I am childless and it sure helps to sooth the old desires.  They are sooo much fun to watch grow and such a joy to see the families taking home their newest member.  I put everything into it and give them the best I have to offer.  I spend an extreme amount of time filtering thru potential buyers and turn away more than I accept.  I am very, very picky about homing my pups.  Here is a pic from yesterday - the one on the right went to a working home and already did her first nursing home visit!  The one on the left is my little runt, but boy is he a rascal and catching up fast!
