someone knew the Koermeister or he knew the dogs' working reputation - favoritism, teacher's pet - the tail probably got some brownie points too.

Come on Molly, he is not that ugly. Just way too long, almost out of proportion.

ok, he's not too ugly. I don't care how ugly he is - he was a great working dog and produced great working dogs. He's the perfect picture of an "ugly workin' dawg". Yes - too long, too light in bone, not enough chest, not enough angulation, pointy muzzle, narrow head - looks more like a female, pretty fluffy tail. KKl-2 for sure. KKl1? ok dokey.

You are right about the female look, lol. He is a typical example of a dog receiving KKL1 on other merits. It proves the statement that it is easier to get a KKL1 than a V-rating. I wonder if he passed on his beautiful tail.

I have a problem with posting the price I paid for the dog. That is no ones business but mine.
I have looked at the kennel and talked with Mike seems nice and all. But I decided to pass for a few reasons.
They have nice pedigrees but pedigrees don't make the dogs THE DOG MAKES THE PEDIGREE
Give me a good working dog any day pretty or ugly. LETS GET THE JOB DONE.

Pia : When you posted that I was looking at a page with Yavo vom Saltztelblick pic and i held it up to the computor and said to myself ,,,that looks like this dog.....and I read at the top of page STud Dog Ad I laughed and thought ,,,,she said is this breed worth or no??????
well maybe she is fooling us...I looked for your ad to see if it was your dog...but my pointer told me it was Asko vd l
Not to hijack this thread but some lady is sueing Mc Donalds for 10 million dollars....they served her son a hamburger / with cheese on it./fries and they took it to a dark place , and the kid bit into it and he is highly alergic to milk products and he was rushed to hospital in serious condition ,,,,very fast reaction........
Should his mom have checked his Hamburger before the kid bit into it.....especially since he has a dangerous allergy????
My husband use to always lift his bun on hamburger , when eating out in public. ordered from a hb joint......because he didnt eat oinions , and if there was one sliver on it , they got it back......

Not very good looking dogs. Must be working lines
Just trying to start some mess
My wife has a job but I am sure glad that she comes from show lines and not working lines. Me? I'm from the Golden Middle
Anyone out there marry a working line spouse intentionally, and wasn't even considering show lines when looking for a spouse?

No , Do right my husnabd swore after his high school sweet heart he would never get envolved with another dog lover (I guess her mother was a collie breeder) lord and behold 11 years later here we are. He is personally a cat person (go figure) but his cat is bigger then some dogs!!!
(MR TINKLES -named after cats ad Dogs) AKA speed bump

EkVon: cute stuffed animal
I think that your dogs must not chase your cat, and if they do, I hope you have really stout trees in your yard
