i might have to look into that! my older one could really use it! i keep telling them to save up their allowance to buy me a high velocity dryer. they of course would rather save their pennies for a pool!

We have hard wood floors in part of the house, (waiting for hubby to finish the rest of the house), and we bought a shop-vac just to pick up the hair, 'cause I blew out 1 upright already....and even after brushing the dogs, and vacuuming the house, I'll put the cleaner away, turn around, and a big wad of fur will sort of waft across the hardwood floor.....I got a little frustrated 2 weeks ago as Kali was in the middle of blowing her coat and took her outside and really did a job on her, brushing, then bathing, blowing dry, brushing again...oh! she looked so pretty! but when Carl came home he was all upset when he came in the house, he wanted to know which dog had "killed the skunk?", because there was so much hair in the front yard! And by the next day you wouldn't have thought she'd been brushed for a year....sigh. jo

Well, I just blew the belt on my upright, and it was my puppy's fault!
Nope, not due to her shedding, but due to her ripping up the edge of the rug! Threads from the rug got wrapped around the beater brush and stalled it, breaking the belt!
Off to Canadian Tire to see if I can get a new one.... [sigh!]
And she did this the day I got the rug back from being cleaned. Fortunately, it's the one I bought at Value Village for $6.00, so I'm not TOO upset with her... 
Thank God I installed doors to keep her away from the living room rug, the only expensive rug in the place right now!
