yellowrose, he doesnt look that bad,i do have a vet appt. set for him just in-case, but hes not a ribby as this male, but i think hes skinny in the hip and shoulder area as well, like every one said it just may be him growing, but just in case we are going to the vet first, then if all is ok, ill take some of these food tips, thanks

Hi, I went thru the same problem with my female GSD when she was 1 yr old. Dx: EPI disease. She is now on enzymes and has gone from 58lbs to 72 lbs.. Problem:  She won't eat the enzymes... Any help  kathy

Just a thought, have you tried Orijen? You said that he's a picky eater? My girl is like that....& she loves the Orijen Adult...the only food she has never turned her nose up at....my guy eats it so well I have to feed him in increments, or he'd choke himself on it (gobble, gobble!) It's not the easiest to find, but the website has a store locator....worth a try if the epi test is (-) jackie osborne

not a good angle on the pic but he seems fine to me. he will fill out in another year or so would be my bet.

He looks just fine to me.  And I think you've received many options in the event you'd prefer him to be a little "thicker", but truthfully from what I could see in the picture he looked fine.

He seems to look fine, but like DR said it's not a good angle. If you are worried about his weight you can try XtraBloom Wate. I used it on my female when I couldn't get weight to stay on her. It is pure animal fat in a powder form, and it smells kinda like vanilla. Just go to www.dresslersdog.com and look it up. It's always worked for my dog's.
