Idog,

Sorry I misread 'no name Schutzhund lovin butt', I apologize. :)  We revear our helpers!

I was a complete novice when I got my girl, in fact I got her and was like 'what is this Schutzhund stuff??' got into it as something to do with her to make her happy, didn't realize how addicted to it I was going to get!

I can go on for hours about my girl, as you can tell I'm thrilled with her across all aspects of living with her.  Now, when she was a puppy she did eat the deck but her dumbells are calm as can be now! :D

2009/2010 hmmm, tempting indeed!  I've bookmarked the kennel, thank you for the recommendation.  Right now I have a goal of putting a III on my bitch before trying to work a second dog but things can tick right along between now and 2010!

RLHAR,

No apologies nessecary...I am not a Helper worthy of being reveared, I am simply a guy who works to assist my club's primary Helper by taking a few bites so he can have a break, and not have to catch every dog.  For me, I feel it makes me a better trainer.  We're fortunate, in that our club only has 13 members and 4 of us are USA Classified Helpers.

Very encouraging to hear your positive experiences with a Czech line dog....and thank you, because I was convinced I was the only person in the world who had a GSD pup eat the deck....I could not believe it....finally nice to know I am not alone, and my deck eater isn't even Czech!!!

I really would like to hear from an individual who is working an Ozzy pup.  If any readers know of such a dog/handler team, please email this thread to them, their input would be really nice to have.

That is hilarious. I just caught my CZECH girl eating my wood stairs in the garage this morning. She is Ozzy progeny, only 5 1/2 months, but good with the kids, and DEFINITELY not a killer. She will run down a ball all day though.

GSDlove212,

Better watch out that your "killer" 1/2 Czech girl doesn't eat you in your sleep!  Luckily Siren is only 1/4 Czech so I might be safe. lol

Idog,

Don't know if you know it or not, but the pup mentioned above by gsdlove 212 is a WIldhaus pup.  Out of a full sister to Eris and by Andy Maly Vah. (Another "killer" Czech dog. LOL)

HAHA. Ocean get's smacked around by the cat. She is good with everyone, she is a firecracker on the feild and already will stand her ground if she feels needed (4 months old) Happy go lucky. I couldn't have asked for a better puppy and honestly I wouldn't have it anyother way. She has changed my heart for the working dog forever and I am sure I will never go without one in my home. Solid, balanced, happy, beautiful who could ask for more.

Killer I think not. She kisses my cat to death (My cat freaks out) haha. It's the first thing she does when she sees him. (prance prance prance, pounce. uncontrolable licker)

If I didn't already have a very young dog taking up all my time and money, I would have POUNCED on this breeding like flies on a shit!!  Not saying I'd have any chance of getting one b/c I bet the list is a mile long and I'm a SchH n00b, but I'm a HUGE Ozzy fan and have seen/heard nothing but great things about Wildhaus dogs (and I'd already decided my next dog will again be a working line dog).

Liesjers, I agree with you. I went to the SDA trail at the UKC Premier back in June. The SDA held a hardest hitting competition on the courage test, and two Wildhaus dogs were in the top six! The 4th hardest hitting dog was in fact a Wildhaus bitch with all the other top dogs males!

For me, the corner stone of my next puppy is Eris vom Wildhaus....I am locked in line for a male pup from her, which will be the Wildhaus "I" litter.  Eris was 25 months old when she accomplished her SchH 2, and when she trialed for SchH 3 she took high protection and high SchH 3.....contrast that with the fact she has her CGC & TT, then look at her pedigree, and anyone would understand why I am crazy for this female.

So with me set on a pup from Eris, I am having a grand ole time sitting on the sidelines watching how this unfolds.  Ozzy was in the line-up for stud selection, but now I would say things are evolving.  Everyone who has any exposure to Ozzy just loves him, but this will be Eris' first litter, and it is early in Ozzy's career with standing at stud....so it may be a more conservative move to select a stud with more progeny on the ground.  That way Wildhaus can really gage what the stud brings to the pup and ensure it complements what Eris offers.  I find the entire process fascinating.  I currently have a female GSD, so I am pretty set on a male from the I litter.....so in the back of my mind, I can just see going through this whole process, and when the magical day arrives it will be a happy, healthy litter of like six or eight females and not one male!!!  LOL

I still admire that Ozzy! but it will be fun to see where the final stud selection ends-up.

Here is Ozzy's courage test at the WUSV Weltmeisterschaft 2007 - he is first up. (Mike Diehl's Erri is there too, if you watch the entire video, which is very worthwhile - some very hard hitting dogs here...)

I don't post to often but this is funny. Killers? I personally love my 2 young females that I bred that are half  West German and half Czech. I love them so much I can't decide which one is better for the sport so I kept both! I have recently learned to judge the dogs more on the dog then the country they came from. (JMO)  I also have a young male from the same breeding, different litter that I love. If only he wasn't related to all my girls. So he is for sale. I do have to say Ozzy's performance at the world in Kentucky was awesome even if he didn't out  :)
