Preston, let's just say, we all believe your every blessed word. Consider the corrupted source, exposed. We gasp at our prior complacency and stupidity. Our institutions have betrayed us, they are profiting at our expense.

Corruption is not unique to institutions, so what are you putting your faith in? How are you creating justice and peace and the right to happiness?

Kim, the subject of this post was the apparent injustice of a swat team attack and
apparent unjustified shooting of a Marine combat vet with a clean record.  The warrant is questionable and has been sealed.  The shooters have hired and attorney, typically not necessary for a knowing "righteous kill".  No drugs or drug residues were found in the house or in his car, nor did the deceased's autopsy report show any drugs in his blood. As any police officer knows, a citizen has a right to defend himself and his family from any spontaeous home invasion by anyone. The police did a poor job of announcing themelves as is evident on the video recording.

Why was this killing of the marine an injustice?  For many reasons which are clear to anyone who spends time looking into the evidence available so far. As most know Tuscon has had a plague of home invasions by drug gangs, who rape, rob and kidnap. This raid occurred in less than a minute.  What would most well trained battle heardened marines or police do in the same situation?  They would try and protect their family.  The deceased's rifle was still on safety at the 45 degree position pointing to the right, not pointed at the police.  The rifle was was on safety. He stopped his defense as soon as he started to realize it was the police, but they shot first. The first shooter's story has now changed and he claims he fired a round by accident and the rest opened up in a panicked response to support him. One officer ran around the house then came to the door according to a neighbor and fired some rounds into the marine after the initial shooting stopped.  This kind of response is indefensible. The swat team by their own admission were pumped up and jumpy, expecting to hit a major well armed drug gang.  Obviously this was a msitaken address, or due to a false statement by a strung out, felonious, or unrelaible confidential drug informant.  If the deceased had been properly surveilled for days prior and a proper background search was done, this most likely would not have happened. Most swat teams are like a military weapon, and they blindly attack their designated target in order to complete the ordered task.  This is what happens when you overspecialize the police and remove contact between the officer on the beat and the community.  This is the complete opposite of good community policing.  This kind of outcome can easily ruin an officers life and put him in jail, and it has happened.

My posts have been an attempt to explain why the swat system is misused and it is ineffective, dangerous to use militarized police.  I have provided a great deal of evidence of what the actual root cause is, which is high level Govt and intel drug trafficking via "controlled deliveries" and arming of drug gangs by the ATF.  This is based on over 35 years of my research with numerous high level contacts.

Beetree, getting the truth out is the first step.  Raising public awareness of the root cause of these tragedies related to swat team errors and Constitutional infringfements is neceassry to create a public response to pressure Congress to defang and defund the programs responsible. It is also the first step in creating pressure for public congressional hearings to more fully expose these practices and increase demands by the public for the root cause to be corrected.  The root cause, govt, intel and alphabet corruption hurts everyone, the community, the police and the victims which can be dead or wounded innocent citizens, dead or wounded police, police careers ruined by mistakes and bad attitudes.

Let' face reality, in many urban areas it is almost impossible to be a dedicated police officer and be happy and content.  In my town, we have the revolving court door, felons bailed out by the next morning, slick defense attornies, angry community pressure groups, and sometimes police leadership that hangs out an officer to dry unjustifiably.  We had a gang task force that was doing exceptional work, making righteous busts almost all of the time while respecting the public's Constitutional rights.  A few bad members ruined it for the rest by stealing money and big screen TVs from several busts, but they got caught and ruined it for the whole team which did a geat job, causing the program to be shut down.  In this case the other officers refused to cover up when IA started to investigate because they were 100% honest and some of the finest Police one would ever find. I have seen more than I ever wanted to firsthand and I do not like the cutbacks in police or the way they are treated.  My city is about 700 officers short and back up can be weak at times. The advent of mounted video recorder on the squads has made it very tough to do their jobs and often slowed everything down since the officer wants to make sure he is recorded properly and can be understood on replay. And most officers get stuck dealing with career druggies or criminals too much of the time that feed them old, repeated trite stories and excuses for bad behavior.  This creates a strong tendency to want to discount everyones "stories" and regard them as bs at face value, even when they are true which is usually less than 25-30% of the time. Result, few get cut any slack, and they get taken in over minor infractions so the judge can sort it out.  This disrupts good community relations and community policing.  About 60-70% of the calls are due to drugs and alcohol abuse.  When the govt brings illegal drugs in, it is especially destructive to the community and police in general.  It must be stopped. Awareness is the first step.

For Everyone

Then I'm done.

LEO's work in a messed up world, not just the U.S., all over the world.

They act upon the information they have and they try and use that information responsibly.

Yes, there are some bad apples (which can be found in any profession whom possess power and authority), but for the most part they are acting in the best interest of the public and within the guidelines of the Law (which by the way changes it's mind on rules and regulations every day).

Bad guys do not play by societies rules, the term 1% ers, came about for a reason. They are the 1% of the worlds population that does not care about laws or decency or civilization as most of us view it.

And, Bad guys do not work 9-5 jobs, so..... LEO's are forced to work on their schedule.

In a perfect world, the Police could phone you up and say that they are going to serve a warrant at your home at 1400 hrs. today, please make sure your children are not there and your guard dog is locked up. Leave all your firearms (un-loaded) outside the front door and when you see us walking up your driveway (marked cruisers, lights flashing, big tough guys/girls in uniforms marked POLICE with guns) please walk out opened handed and follow instructions and no harm will come to you.

We do not live in a perfect world. Yes, people/police/politicians have to be held accountable for their actions and decisions, but certainly not on the PDB.

I respect anyone who truly believes changing the injustices that they feel are happening in their community, city or Country, provided that they do it in a responsible, intelligent and professional manner.

Look up any subject on the internet and you will find videos and so called facts which contradict each others video.

Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.

Stay safe, have a great life

Kim, I think you missed the main points of my posts which is to "clean out the corruption" in govt, intel and alphabets which provides massive quantities of drugs along with high powered weapons to he drug gangs in American urban centers.

A corrollary point is that it is vital to the police to have good community relations, to be trusted and accepted by the community.  In many urban centers this trust in gone and many crimes go unsolved because witnesses don't trust the police and even sometimes think they have moles inside who leak witnesses names and adderesses, making them targets for being hit.  Misuse of swat teams which are too often overspecialized paramilitary style attack units completely separated from the community contribute to this loss of trust.  Here are some examples of how good citizens often help police in trouble when they are overpowered.  When police become isolated from the community spirit, the community often abandons them too as sees them only as "the man", or an evil, self-serving authority figure and not a real person.  Some progressive depts, especially in suburban areas know this and push public relations almost constantly.  The progressive chiefs know that community trust can solve crimes quickly by providing anonymous information and actual witnesses willing to come forward.  The greatest, most successful detective I knew who worked one of the toughest cities in America, told me that he constantly worked to build psoitive relationships with community members and gained their trust and this advanced his success rate greatly at every turn.

Unrighteous kills on swat team raids based on faulty warrants or inaccurate or faulty information does great and sometimes ireparable harm to communities that have trouble trusting the police anyhow.

Now let's complete the circle and find out who is really pulling the strings, that is, which powerful entity is behind the "war on drugs" which has led to massive govt and intel drug trafficking into the USA and alphabet sales of high powered weapons to cartels which end up with drug gangs in the USA used against policemen.  Let's find out who is the force driving the rare but occasional issuing of false search warrants for paramilitary executions masked as "righteous kills". Any seasoned police officer has heard of whistleblower cops in certain large cities being sent to bad busts with no back up to do the same thing (of course one can study the Knapp report from NYC to get an idea of how endemic police corruption can become from the top down).

Many large wall street banks would go under in a few weeks if all major drug trafficking into the US was stopped, or if most drugs became a medical event, prescribed and controlled.  It is these particular selection of wall street banks that promote int'l unprovoked, illegal, unConstitutional wars for war profiteering for themselves and what Pres. Eisenhower called the "military industrial complex" (MIC). These same banks received two massive bailouts totaling trillions.  Some expert economists have estimated total bailouts ranging from 23.5 to 27 trillion dollars with most going to foreign banks.  As many citizens living in Iceland, Ireland, Spain, and Greece know all too well the international central banks made bad investments into ponzi schemes such as "credit default swaps", derivatives and the like which went bad.

These same banks expect the taxpayers in these countries to bail them out, thus paying for the banks irresponsible investments and then instituting severe austerity programs to provide the revenue by lowering their standards of living.  This is best referred to as high tech, state assisted asset stripping by central banks.  It is these same banks that need ongoing perpetual war to keep viable and work hand in hand with the MIC to achieve this.

by Preston on 15 June 2011 - 16:06

Now for some documentation from credible sources to show that some of the wall street banks actually do launder huge amouints of drug money and get away with it. If you have trouble fitting this into your head, I apologize, but it is time folks know the truth about how their country has been hijacked by super-elites deviants who are the biggest criminals of all and who get away with it because they control the justice dept, the aplhabets and intel for the most part, as well as have many congressmen and women in their backpockets.  Incredulous, yes.  But also true for anyone that really wants to do research and find out. The USA has spent its way into technical bankruptcy by fighting illegal, perpetual, undeclared, unprovoked wars all over the world since WW2.  The chickens have come home to roost and now the American txpayer must bear the massive burden of this asset stripping.  The results won't be pretty.

For those who can handle the truth, here is a description of the covert or "shadow govt" which runs the wall street banks and much of the world's central banking systems and itself is controlled by super-elite banking families, many of which live in Europe.

The visible govt takes orders from the shadow (invisible or secret, covert govt) which was constructed incrementally after WW2 starting in 1947 with Truman's National Security act (which he later said was a big mistake).  The false cloak of so-called "national security " is used as cover for many crimes of state including massive illegal drug trafficking and arms sales.
