The so-called "war on drugs" has resulted in a huge increase in drug trafficking into the USA and use of military style "attack tactics" in communities which are a risk to women and children and innocents at wrong addresses or based on faulty informant information.  US Govt complicity in this illegal drug trafficking has turned many inner cities into war zones.  For those who want hard documentation read the CIA Inspector General Hitz's report or contact ABC's WPLG Television in Miami which was sued by the CIA for a week long investigative news special on CIA drug trafficking into "rust alley" at miami airport. Remember, Urban blacks do not own planes and ships and do not control customs and DEA "controlled deliveries or "cargo kickers". 

Former CIA and DEA agents testified in the trial and the CIA lost the case, proving that the news reports were accurate.  I read some of the depositions and court transcripts.  This story was suppressed but should have made headline news accross the country it was so important, just like the Ricky Ross arrests in LA.  But as William Colby once said (former head of the CIA) use of Operation Mockingbird to take over all mass media was the CIA's biggest accomplishment.  He also stated that every single major newscaster was under their control for content directly or indirectly.  (Example of this media control.  detailed surveys show over 80% of US citizens believe that the US Govt assassinated JFK in a coup de 'etat and Oswald was an innocent patsy, the 100% of the media talking heads stuill claim Oswald was the lone gunman which is an absurd calim in view of the massive evidence proving otherwise.)

Many folks balk when they hear this for the first time that their Fed Govt is complicit in the drug trade and arms the drug cartels and the major banks are up to thei eyeballs in it as far as money laundering.  This is a hard fact of life that just won't fit into their heads.  Result, mock the truth bearer, make a personal attack, or bury their heads in the sand like an ostrich.  Americans are remarkably ignorant about how the real world works.  Europeans tend to have a more open press and media, and seem better equipped emotionally to handle this.

I am not arguing against the possibility that the Zetas were once trained and/or equppied with our help or influence (as have been many other groups with whom we later had adversarial relationships), that parts of the U.S. government are probably complicit in the drug trade or even that the CIA isn't probably directly or indirectly responsible for more deaths than Hitler.  So, what's your point?
