There's just not many superb dogs, from any generalized populations (westline also), so that's where specific bloodlines really make a difference.  And not just from "great dogs", but from great dogs that produce great dogs!  Anything else, a "crapshoot".  Max v Tiekerhook has been brought to some females in the US that I never would have approved, and of course that's none of my business.  But, appearantly he's not being used very often in Europe, except "in-house", and I can only assume why.

Wow Vikram,
You really need to learn a little more about Czech limes and GSD's in general before making statements like that.  I hope you can handle a Tiekerhook dog, becareful what you wish for.  Handler aggression can come in strong lines like that as well.  Please do more research and keep an open mind, they are not the only great breeder out there.

By the way, I'll keep my super czech working dog any day.  Super grips, natural aggression, clear headed, outstanding drive for obedience, super focus, super tracking and bite work and no handler aggression.  Did I mention a very hard dog as well. It doesn't get much better than him.

Like I said before I have a lot of respect for Tiekerhook dogs, but I also resspect many other breeders as well.

JMO,

Jim

 Vikram

I will testify to  SLAMDUNC'S dog. I know first hand the power that his czech line dog has. That dog does not not play in protection! He is very stable and is super nice looking to.

Hi Slamdunc, that's a really nice dog you have...where are you located. I like the Czech dogs alot and also have seen some very fine Czech dogs in the police field. Anybody that believes that Czech dogs generally don't have good nerve is either clueless or a person who thinks sport is real work. Either way you have a very nice dog and Cordon is known for producing dogs with good nerve and a little edge, that is so necessary in real manwork.
