Thanks Molly. They state that the only reason they are selling her is due to kennel space. They have two litters coming apparently, and have kept her and some of her sibs. No, I have not asked about her tattoo. Her ratings are: ZB NWKL: VV, DNA, HD: a-normal, ED normal. They are not flying her to Frankfurt as far as I understand-driving. I also forgot to mention that her pink papers ARE included as well. I will ask for proof of the ratings. I do not think I will actually go with this sale, but it has been a VERY good learning experience for me thanks to all of you. I have been tempted just to post the link to the websites, etc. but I thought that would not be appropriate. I have emailed the few of you who said I could and will give you more info that way. Back to looking here at home...(sigh) yes, there will always be another won't there... T

Tirzah07 - Why don't you just post the name and address of the website for that breeder? I'm sure someone around her has done business with them.

I bought an adult bitch that was in Germany also, it was just a little over 3 months ago and it was from someone offering to help out Tirzah07 on this very post! Well, they took my money and never sent me my dog. Since you seem so helpful, perhaps you could contact them and ask them what the hell is up with stealing my dog? Thanks, appreciate your help SBB

Tirzah07, If you do not post the web site how can anyone give you the feedback you are seeking? This is a good place to get good feedback from. Sometimes you have to wade through a little doodoo but in the end you will have a good feel for the kennels reputation and integrity.

You would be wise to look domestic. In fact, there are several people on this board right now with superb quality pups for sale if you will look around. Newbies and importing do not mix well....for the newbie anyway! lol

Very true,a s was my case. I got the dog and all paperwork in atimely manner but the dog was n horrid condition and lost 5 out of 8 pups.

They already gave me the total with shipping and importation, and I sent them a Cashiers Check back in November of last year. They cashed the check and decided to just keep the dog. That's why I'm asking for help, it's too late to start looking around for a quality pup here domestically.

I do not mean to insult any breeders but while you can find honest trustworthy breeders to import from there is a high number who are not. Hard for anyone especially a newbie to know who's who.

The only way I would deal with a breeder in Europe, or any other foreign continent, is if people I KNEW PERSONALLY had dealt with them and had positive results. I would not even take the word of strangers. Nope. No way. A Jackal could be in the crate when you open the crate door and you are SOL. Desert Rangers is right. We are breeding good quality dogs and you have a much better chance at getting exactly what you want right here in the US. Especially now that it is Spring, there are many excellent quality litters hitting the ground now from ethical sincere breeders who work hard for their reputation, and care by what they produce and where it goes.
