Sure, "we" do.
But as it's NOT MY DOG,nor a dog I bred, I don't feel comfortable posting it w/out permission. I'll PM it to you.

Those exrays suck. Unfortunately, that's what you get with MOST vets. They might have inexperienced tech do the pictures 'cause the DOCTOR is too busy with "important" stuff, or if they put hands on, they don't know how to do it properly either.
My vet is an hour one way from me, I've shopped around for closer vets, and every single one one in my county and the next three over, were that bad. And they will NOT give a refund.
OFA is doing a tremendous disservice to dog owners by accepting crappy films such as those. If they would kick them back to the vet, the vets might take more time and learn how to make diagnostic exrays. But instead, OFA rates them, and then recommends taking new ones and submitting six months later....more money for them and the vet, for the same crappy outcome.

Vet needs a new job, methinks. Not as outwardly shockingly horrendous as the first, but if you look closely, really, they're exceptionally poorly positioned as well. I shudder to think what this poor guy spent on hips & elbows & anesthesia & microchips for 2 dogs yesterday.

I've seen some crappy X-rays and i've seen some faked X-rays from over seas. (Dog in the X-ray is clearly not the dog sent with the X-ray)
But thos totally suck for X-rays. If he vet won't refund that garbage i'd say chalk it up to a bad experience and find another vet.
I had a puppy that her owner's vet did X-ray and claimed my pup was dysplastic. I took my pup back and with the x-rays had my vet examine her. I pointed out that she was not dysplastic but instead had a dislocated hip. With a little treatment and some time her hip on the next x-ray was normal. But that was also the day i was getting her spayed.
I would not have paid for thos crappy films.

who cares about a pedigree???does the x ray quality change because you know the pedigree??
fact is someone have pay money to get his dog x rayed, the vet have x rayed him but not in proper manner that ofa or sv could get a result.sv would send you these pictures back and would asked for new ones.ofa would rate them!!is it in best interest of anyone to get a result because of this sh... picture.
For sure not the breeders interest and not the owners.

Yeah, Joan, like I said "TWO" dogs' xrays were paid for, hips and elbows, by this poor guy. ;-) Vet should be ashamed! One is male and one is female.
Stefan, exactly. OFA probably WOULD grade them. Horrifying. I'm not sure what pedigree has to do with it either. I PM'd the pedigree and didn't get any response as to why the curiosity. Hint, Hint, Admin. ;-)
Am I really alone in thinking the left hip should have more damage if it's really that bad??? This dog is almost 4 years old! I've never seen femoral heads so round in a hip that's subluxated that far in a dog that age, personally.
I told the guy if he's just done with trying to get them rated, I'll take them and get them done myself and buy them if they look ok with REAL xrays. If not, then I'll find them good homes. It's a real shame that an owner needs to be a radiology expert to get what he's paying for.

Jenni- it looks like that is a male dogs xray? Is that his scrotum we see?

by Jenni78 on 25 February 2014 - 20:02
One is male and one is female. The first one is the female's and the second ones are the male. With the angle of the female's film, lord only knows what we're seeing, LOL.

Oh OK!! I thought I was seeing things. I'm a registered nurse, look at lots of xrays, and that one sure looks weird for a bitch to me!
