Ah Hund, again the gray matter must have been floating when I wrote that as I put Klee Kai backwards and misspelled it. Oh well.
And Fawn I wondered that same thing about the bottle feeding thing--I know those small breeds can become hypoglasemic (spelling) and had to be given nutrical or even honey but I never heard of bottle feeding for it..................OMG what will they invent next............
Jackie you are right they're not hybrids or breeds they are mutts used for profit. That's all.  in our language we have a word that covers many things regarding pets.  Washcubby--it is a pet  with no pedigree, often mangy and underfed. Something noone else wants. That's what we call the designer dogs...............

What is the Size of a Pomsky?

The size of this dog will depend on how big the parents are. The size will generally be determined by both parents, meaning that you have to take the size of one, add to the size of the other parent then divide this by 2 to get a rough estimate of how big the dog will be. Do not be fooled by the fur that a pomsky may have, because the size of the parents is what matters.

What Smile

Oh, gee, I'll have to remember this VERY IMPORTANT info if I ever decide to breed a litter. That way, I will know EXACTLY what size offspring to expect!

ROTFLMAO!!

I'd guess the 'bottle feeding' thing is 'cos they are selling 'em too
young.  After all, the younger in weeks they are, probably the
cuter and fluffier they are ...
Aaaarrrrgghhh!

Jenni your little black and tan dog has such high hopes! "My what big eyes you have!" Let me know when they come in double merle! I'll take 10 to back cross to each other. Oo
You know i've met a few Klee Kais and i'm not impressed at all. (all had nasty tempers) But then i'm not fan of spitz breeds in florida, or spitz's in general.
Good thing some folks find them fantastic be cause i don't want any im my house.
When the internet first came out i though it might help people become smarter. But clearly things have gone awry!

Geez Sun you almost make me spill my beer all over the keyboard. Rolling away in the chair and laughing. I read that too and I am like WTF............
Fry I had an online associate who did Huskies. Personally I never was too much a fan of the huskies ever. But I knew this lady a long time and I got to where I knew a fair share about the breed and who was who in the sibe world. Anyway she told me all about the Klee Kais and said exactly what you said among other things.............all negative--I don't even like their looks..............Oh and the internet has only put the info right in people's laps so to speak-----------it's right here--anything you want to buy---I just shake my head..............
These Pomsky people--I think I may try to make contact with them--just to find out as much as I can cause I am curious and nosey.................

All this interest in a Pomsky and no one wants one of my Mal-N-Collie Babies? Buy one, get one free? How about a nice breeding pair?

I will say from the pictures I found of them, they are cute.  My friend has a Siberian Husky I pet sit occasionally; been around him off and on since he was 8 weeks (he is Baron's best friend).  Sweetest dog and smart as a whip.  He does have some challenges that are common to the breed:

loves to run - went for miles the one time he got out of my yard.
digging/chewing - no dog can compete, not even a lab.  Even at 6 years, chewing and digging through the yard is a monthly challenge
Texas Heat - he is miserable.  My friend has him as an outside dog during the day (whole different conversation).   I think this more than anything has always stopped me from considering this breed.

i can't imagine how much these would be a challenge in a dog about the size of a Pomeranian, especially since they are generally a yippy dog.

I remember a couple years back there was this crazy lady that bred Shiloh Shepherd/Wolf crosses because she "loved breeding dogs" and had found her "mission in life".  She brought 3 of her dogs to the pet store and the poor dogs were so ugly and out of proportion.  They appeared heavily drugged and didn't react to ANYTHING including a little boy and girl that ran up to give them a hug and kiss after their clueless mom and dad said "go give the nice doggies a hug and kiss to show how much you love them" (yikes).  These dogs didn't even blink or anything, glassy eyed and almost stumbling when she pulled on the leash to continue walking.  I talked to the lady because I wanted to find out about her "breeding" and she proudly told me about her breeding parents to offspring and littermate to littermate because "dogs unlike people can be bred that closely to get just the right color or look, nothing bad comes of it".  The local veterinarian was there and told me that the lady had been breeding these dogs for a few years and has yet to have a litter that hasn't had MAJOR temperament issues.  But because the dogs are well cared for, nothing can be done about her continued breeding.

My sister-in-law wanted to get my brother the "perfect" dog that looked like his old solid white Akita that died.  She showed me the "breeder's" webpage (since taken down because this lady was arrested, what for, I don't remember).  I said let me go with you to the local shelter and we will find an Akita or something that looks like an Akita rather than this "breeder".  My sister-in-law went without me and told me what the lady said.  The lady bragged that she was filling a niche for the "perfect mix of dog breeds".  One of her breedings was between a Pittbull and Poodle, because "the pittbull is just too macho for the average family while the poodle is just a homosexual breed, by mixing the two, you dilute the macho with the homosexual and get the perfect dog".  The "breeder" did other breedings for stupid insane reasons but I don't remember what they were.  My sister-in-law was there for the Labrador/Akita breeding because "the Labrador is too friendly and trusting while the Akita is mean and nasty".  My sister-in-law bought the line and paid $600, I wanted to smack her.

Oh Mindhunt I've heard some horror stories in my time, but
your two examples are WAY up there!   I thought humans
were supposed to have some degree of intelligence ?  Not
those specimens, clearly.   Tearing my hair out !Omg Smile

Oh My, Mindhunt.  What is worse is that these people are allowed to reproduce themselves.
