Breeder integrity...any recourse? Germany and beyond - Page 3

I felt heart-broken after reading and seeing you plight almost first-hand. I'm happy you love, care and proud of your dogs despite the dishonesty and wickedness of one crook in germany.

What happened to you was shameful, this is not a novice breeder.....and the apologist for the breeder are worse!

Thanks for the warning.  I owned an AltenbergerLand female, she was a wonderful dog with many titles and good V ratings.  I have thought I may try to buy another one day. I won't be doing that now.

Thanks for posting the information. It seems these days that some on the database want it not exposed those who choose to do the wrong thing. Many people come here to get information about breeders and I feel yours was done with integrity. I had a tail like your males on a puppy that grew just like this. He broke it when less than 2 weeks old after his mom stepped on it. I had hope that the tail would correct itself but it was not to be and it did curl at the end. I would have a hard time believing it was not noticed BEFORE the dogs were shipped to you. The ears well we all know that more goes into why they didn't stand and you maybe being able to tape them when the dog was younger. (no boos here for taping)

You didn't mention what you paid and I'm not sure that refunding you I agree with. Maybe a replacement with you being able to keep your male. I think only here in the states do we ask for refunds. This is why puppies are such a risk.
