Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power.
Abraham Lincoln
So tell me how has the USCA board and officers measured up to Lincoln's words?? By trying to better all GSD owners and their lot ( a rising tide lifts all boats) or by trying to better the lot of the USCA at the expense of all other GSD owners?? And if the power the USCA board and officers was used unwisely why do any others want to join you and give you more power?? I have never seen GSD ownership and training as a zero sum game .. I do not need to take something from others to have more for myself.

bubbabooboo - enuogh is enough.........will you just chill for a while!
Go train your dogs and enter a UScA event, if you have problems with it, then come back and complain.
But first, go complain to your regional director and see if it can be worked out....
Tired of your endless hot air....

Thought this was Kevin Nance's thread????
by Gustav on 08 March 2013 - 07:03
It was Kevin's thread, and the thread had potential until the hate filtered in. I really think it is probably impossible to have constructive dialogue on this matter as Kevin attempted as long as the people have more emotion than brains. I'm done with this subject and let the zealots exact their pound of flesh on both sides. Fortunately, I think that USCA has leadership in place that will be responsive to the best FUTURE direction for their organization....thumbs up to Jim and Frank!

This sort of discussion leads to endless repetition of silly
nonsense. In reality these are complex issues needing serious
background information and carefully set out discussion.
It was in response to this sort of thing that I began to
document answers, so that repeated questions could be
conveniently replied to. Perhaps this will shed some light:

Bubbabooboo you are as expoilted as your TV sister. Thank you Kevin Nance for offering one possible solution to the tempest in the tea pot. I respect people who get elected to a charity post and put themselves ''out there'' to further the breed. I have seen the process in UScA from the inside and can not say it is flawless but I have had my opportunity to work at solutions and do so to the best of my ability. I only hope that new people take every opportunity to grow and learn in this great breed. Do right and fear no-one. I do fear the ''keyboard muscled'' malcontents and their effect on impressionable people.

The WUSV has spoken and they said that what the USCA did was wrong 4 years ago, last week, and it will be wrong on March 11 unless the USCA membership and leadership changes their code, conduct, and character. Play by the WUSV rules or leave! There will be no study or negotiations or discussion. The USCA officers and board members as well as the membership who allowed the WUSV rules to be broken for 4 years are responsible. They knew what they were doing was wrong and they thought they could get by with it. All the denials and lies about who knew what and when will never conceal the truth as outlined in Henke's letter. Henke told the truth and I have documented it with minutes of the WUSV meetings which were attended by USCA leadership. The USCA leadership voted for the WUSV rules they were breaking. The USCA is a member of the WUSV at least until March 10, 2013 and as a member is required to obey the constitution each and every day and in each and every way.

Gustav .. you take a hike.. the USCA isn't leading anybody but itself on a self serving crusade .. Alloway in his response to the WUSV letter on the USCA web site implied dishonesty and lack of clarity from the WUSV which is a bald faced lie. The WUSV has been honest and crystal clear, the dishonesty is all by the USCA. The minutes of the 2010 and the 2012 WUSV meetings show that the USCA knew and voted for the rules they broke. Period!! How about telling the truth just once and the USCA acknowledging they purposely broke the rules for months and years as Henke pointed out??
"I would like to thank all of you for your patience with regard to this issue and the members of the USCA executive board who have diligently worked in search of honest, clear communication from the WUSV/SV."
