There does seem to be a problem with IE8 and the reverse pedigrees. It is confirmed by my testing.

The d3 (d3js.org) library does not support ie8/ie7/ie6. So reverse pedigree will never work,I'm sorry.

Just go and get the portable version of Firefox :) Doesn't need a normal install, just download, unzip it and run..

The porable version didn´t work, too.
Installed Firefox, and now IT WORKS!!!!
