She is pure gorgeous.
I think almost all GSD. I think Linda might be onto something though. I have seen many lurchers with ears like this (and they stayed like this LOL), and she does have a very long lean body. I once fell in love with a black GSDXlurcher, it was the most stunning dog. I am going to go wild and say bull lurcher (bull terrier x lurcher) X GSD (based on the eyes, and that she hasnt got an overlong muzzle plus place of origin), but at least 3./4 GSD. How old is she now? We must watch her as she grows for all to be revealed I think. I love her, you are both very lucky.

I think she maybe, and I think you might be too with the bull terrier, her eyes are that type and at one point I'd have sworn there was some sort of bull breed in there and they were dark from the off, and I've never seen a black GSD with eyes that dark from being small.
She was said to be approx 16 weeks when we got her back in nov - I think she was older going by the fact she had all her back teeth before christmas I reckon she's about 8/9mths old now and just starting to show signs of having her first season.
She's changing a lot as she's growing, her head still is quite small in proportion to her body, her shoulders are really set forward so she's flat chested she hasn't got a prominant chest. Shes in a filling out stage at the minute, having sprouted legs last month, you could almost see her growing overnight! And Hubby said to me 'please tell me she's topped out now' I just laughed LOL Her back legs she's very long in the thigh to well let down hocks, her tail set is quite low too. Her coat is interesting, she has your classic GSD coat over her loins and croup but the rest is silky, and she doesnt appear at the minute to have a full double coat, its like her undercoat starts half way back and stops half way down!
It is fascinating to see her go through all these stages and see her change, she's very vocal if you are talking to her she'll talk back, but otherwise shes not gobby, she has quite a hound like bark, never high pitched, that prey drive bark isn't there its a woof (even when she's barking at her toys).not a squeak.
I didn't choose her because she was supposidly a BlackWL GSD I didn't really want another black having lost Evo (I'm not a huge fan of black shepherds, I kept him because of the dog he was not his colour) I was drawn to the look in her eyes, I sat staring at her picture that had popped up on my FB wall and Hubby said 'You want her don't you' and I just said 'Yep!' And I am so glad I did because we all adore her, she is fab.... now just need her to grown into her brain LOL because she is agile as a cat!! And I fancy having a try at agility with her!

WL GSD pup going through a straight phase...might stay that way. Lots of GSDs who aren't mixed don't have a lot of angulation. Hell, I've bred a few who had a lot, then not a lot, then it came back when they were mature. My Czech pup was way over-angulated as a tiny tot, now is practically as straight as my Pit Bulls at 5 mos. old.
Repost in a few months and let us play again.

My black pup's eyes have been at least this dark since the day I brought him home.

I suppose it depends on the lines? My bi colour bitch had almost black eyes really dark, and her pups to a B&T saddle went dark very early, but to a solid black the 4 black boys eyes took til they were about 10mths to go dark.
