Do not loan your phone to ANYONE, even if you think they are ok. No, Ace, I do not have an alias. I was called and told about this mess today. I'm mortified. I may be a lot of things, but dishonest and deceitful I am not. It is impossible to undue something this awful, but I did NOT make that post. I know you all are going to have great fun at my expense and feel much better about yourselves when and if you get through with me, but that's the way it goes. Joan Ronalder Vomrongermanshepherds

If I were in the market for a Czech dog, I would definitely buy from Hans at Alpine K9. I believe he was the first to import Czech dogs to the States, and he really knows what he's doing.

Some people talk a good talk, so it is best to get references and speak with other owners of a breeders dogs.  That will tell you if they produce what they say they do.

A dog-friend associated with one of my sites told me that people were slamming someone she was sure I knew in GSD.  I don't do "lists" and chats so bear with me.  I think y'all are having a field day about Joan Ronalder and if that is who this is about, let me just say it sounds like typical "sour grapes" competitor stuff.  I don't know what you think she did but I DO know what she does.  I've been in dogs (and horses) for over 44 years and Joan is one of the most famous multi-species animal trainer I've ever known.  I've seen her perform, watched them video her acts, both the dog act and the incredible Indian Maiden Dancing Horse act.  She is uniquely talented but more than that, she was a dog whisperer before the term became catchy.  I could say a lot but suffice to say, she puts titles on dogs quicker than probably a lot of those who are playing "gotcha" over what someone else said or did.  You folks need to get a life or win a ribbon or something.  I don't know if this is allowed but here is a link that says it all about my friend Joan.  Her story was covered by a national newspaper but she was one of the top acts in North America, from Canada to the SW horse show and rodeo arenas.

She is also featured on the world's first and largest dog-site:

But what I'm saying is that I've known Joan for over 20 years, visited her home, watched her work training miracles with her import dogs and loved her old Colonel as much as one of my own.  I know y'all love the breed and if any of you had ever seen that magnificent dog work on the farm, just by reading Joan's mind and okay, maybe knowing what the word "bucket" meant when she told him to "go get the bucket" that dog trotted off, down the bank, across the corral that held a bull who challenged him, but he circumvented the bull, and picked up the heavy bucket and with the bull pawing at his heels, that German Shepherd scrambled through the fence but remembered what he went for, he reached back through, got the bucket, and carried it up to Joan.  It brought tears to my eyes and my husband was shaking his head.  Joan didn't know what had shocked us.

I could tell you a lot but I won't.  I prefer the "looks" of the American bred GSD show lines, dogs like Hatter shown by my other good friend, Jimmy Moses, now an AKC judge.  But Joan's dogs have a mind that exceeds anything I've ever seen.  You guys should be so lucky :)

Maybe it's just me, but if someone needs that much "building up"  and representation as being done in the above post, I really do not want a dog from them...

I agree Northwoods.  That was the standard "please post something online in this particular forum to give me support" post.

smh@ Someone "borrowing" you phone and instead of making a call they go on your web browser (On your phone) to make a post on PDB in this particular thread.

Yeah right!

Hello- I have personal done much business with Eurosport and have kept in contact with her to discuse training and keep updated. I can say that i could not be happier with the dogs I have and that I have even spoke to her with regards to another dog  and when i asked if the dog would be what i wanted she said NO. She could have told me the dog was something it was not in order to make a sale. But I did not buy the dog becuase as it stands now all the dogs i have bought from her have been what she said they were. I would gladly look at buying another dog from her when I am ready.

I would be happy to give more info if need feel free to contract me

prager hans said, i have sold the dog Charik Galan Nalag to Joan. No, Jiri Novotny sold Charik Galan Nalag to Joan. His is the name on transfer, not prager hans. Joan emailed Jiri to help get her a dog to use in breeding program because hans tried to sell Joan unpapered 4 year old dog, Orbe, for sixty five hundred dollars; no hip/elbow certification, no titles, for breedig program. Joan went with Jiri's dog. (in third person for clarity)
