OVC stands for Ontario Veterinary College. It is the Canadian version of OFA.

Relax, no one is saying you're wrong. Not sure if the dog in the picture is the first RTT. And I'm not sure any of us were there at that time so I would think we're going by what we know, have read, or seen. Passed downed.
Those are the dates of the first RTT, But date unknown, (from me) Duncan bred RTT and kept a pup named "Junior" and he continued in the movies. But like I said I don't have dates.
When Duncan trained dogs for the military he used another of RTT's son, "RTT III" again dates unknown. @ 1949 Duncan acquired another GSD he named that one RTT II, who sired RTT IV and both dogs starred in "The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin" from 1954-1959

alboe2009,
I was wondering about the 2007 movie called "Finding Rin Tin Tin" that I posted a link to. It is based on the true story of Rin Tin Tin. Do you know if that is a Rin Tin Tin dog in that movie? The movie tailer that I posted doesn't say.
