I was in the same room, but I walked into my kitchen right off the puppy room, and there were two people, so one can get your attention, well the other, I guess could snatch the little guy.

Sorry I trusted the person I am probably supposed to make a report  of a missing pup to, gee, excuse me for trusting a law offical, I am such an idiot!

Like I could have seen this one coming..........

In all my years of breeding dogs, I have never had a pup disappear, I guess I have learned a valuable lesson,

I was brought up to trust a law offical,....maybe some are honest, and guess what, some might not be....

this sucks more for the pup than me!

And YES, they purchased a 3 month old pup, on the day I let them take a peek at the 3 week old litter,

They were e-mailing me and asking questions just 14 hours after picking up the 3 month old pup, and I didn't get back to them & answer their questions,

So why the heck haven't they e-mailed me again, or called on the phone, why haven't I heard from them since the day after my pup went missing, WTF

If someone I got a pup from didn't e-mail me back, I would call them, I would wonder why they haven't answered my e-mails,

Maybe they are waiting for your answer.  I wouldn't email again, if I had already done so, just me.

If he is a law official( what's that, a cop?) than maybe they didn't take it.?

Red Sable,

I am hoping you are so right, only time will tell,

that is what I would like to believe, and after they e-mailed me, and I didn't answer them, and then I waited for Saturday to come & go, what about their friend that wanted a male pup?  Does he still want one, or did he just get one.........?

They sounded very serious about their friend that was going to stop by, they even mentioned him in an e-mail, the day they were coming to visit, too much to wonder about.......

Wish I could repeat the day...........

I know, so many questions.  Why don't you answer their email, and ask them about their friend?  Do you think they were lying about him being a police officer?

I can see the difficulty in showing up there with cops  doing a search if he is indeed a cop.

Ok, maybe a different scenerio... Maybe they are waiting for you to reply, maybe they don't want to "bug" you with their puppy questions. Maybe they ARE innocent. has ANYONE had access to the pups? Stupid question, but could momma have moved that ONE into another area?

Moving/hiding puppies is what mothers do best, Hopefully thet is what happened.

I think the main lesson here is that more and more nowadays, people are liars and thieves. Trust me, I once had a cop steal my bitch and my litter; they are not immune from temptation.  Well, I guess now we know why we hear these stories of people not allowing buyers in to see all the dogs. I guess I won't either, should I have to sell to a stranger. I'm sorry for you, Mirasmom.

Not pointing fingers but just offering another scenario.

Though rare it is not unheard of for three week old puppies to fail.  If this happened and Momma 'cleaned up' the den, like a proper bitch would, that might be another explination.

I thought of that scenario too... but @ 3 weeks? You think its possible?
